+1 A man with priorities. But you need to put the 100 in front of the Gators!

Thank you Brother! The 100 will move up with upgrades I'm sure -- for now she's bone stock!

i just read this thread from the start. entertaining, and had me reflecting on my own satisfaction levels for various jobs over the years. good stuff!

i'm a hydrogeologist for a small environmental consulting company - we investigate and delineate contaminated soil and groundwater sites, and design systems to clean them up. These sites range from corner store gas stations to rocket testing facilities. good work and plenty of it, although after 18 years i sometimes feel like a change would be a good thing.

i've driven toyotas almost exclusively since i was a sophomore in high school. i think i've had every single configuration between standard cab, extra cab, 2wd, 4wd, short bed, long bed, 4runner - seven mini's in all. i wanted an LC ever since high school, and i finally bought my 01 a few months ago :p

my dad gave me this tech when i was 15, and it has saved my a$$ more times than i can remember: hide a key! i used to use the old magnet box, but lately have used a steel carabiner instead (just clip it to the chain that holds the spare tire up). now with the LC transponder key, i am figuring a water proof system...

How about using the grey valet key?

my cruiser did not come with one (but did come with 2 masters), and the dealer wants like $60 for the valet key, so i will just stash my extra master.

$34 for the Camry key from Onur at American Toyota in Albuquerque. Its a very tough key without the remote buttons. I have two of them: One as a spare and the other I use everyday (hangs on the same key ring as my LC remote key "fob").

I picked up a toyota transponder key on ebay for $12 shipped. I took it to the dealer in Nashville and they refused to cut. They did not want to damage their equipment. My wife:princess: went back two hours later and they cut and programmed for free.

work sucks

6 years in the Army, 2 years as a field engineer for Virginia state, 2 1/2 years as a field engineer for Fairbanks and Morse. Started working for myself in 08 and have never looked back!

You too??
When you get your sliders, need to come up here and tackle Beasley...

ha yea it sucks.

Sliders come in Wednesday (hoping there are no delays), and I'm game for tackling Beasley, I'll only come with you if I can get that shiny rear bumper that your selling :D because after Beasley, I'm going to need a new plastic one. Either that or I can just take it off. Silly me
