I just got the results back from OTRAMM and the ABS module won’t pass diagnostics, however there was no lights on the dash indicating a failure on the way from picking it up to OTRAMM. What do you think is going on? I’m concerned since the abs system is also in charge of ATRAC. I did see g7computers will repair at the board level, found another company that does same thing w a lifetime warranty. Certainly less money than a new one and less headache than having to program a used one, as far as I can tell any help is appreciated

Oh I’m reading those codes may be related to wiring or fuse. fingers crossed it doesn’t require messing w the actual module

Update: the particular code has to do with the relay to the brake lights and should be able to be remedied easily. In case anyone is wondering

i was about to say, this isn't a pump issue. The first code is the system shutting down because of the second code. Could be the brake switch itself or wiring as you said.

I did replace a module next to the pedal a couple of months ago but i think it was on a pre 03 model. so im not sure if that's the case here.

When you say the system shutting down, do you mean it’s literally disabling abs/atrac because of the brake light relay/wiring? That’s super weird

i went through my records. Had an lx come through the shop, tire blowout took out the tailight and it burnt fuses causing the abs system to malfunction.

do all your brake lights work in the rear? check the "stop" fuse on the drivers side under the dash. There's also a relay as well.

ive attached two files, one with the diag procedure and another with the wiring diagrams. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for the info, what the actual problem was after they did a little diagnostics is that it’s the stop light switch underneath the brake pedal failed. It then caused that error when they were running diagnostics on the computer.
