'06 Hilux D4D Tuffy Center Console Question...

Ok so after google turned up zip, I am hitting up my MUD peeps. We are moving to Honduras January 19th and we are buying a 2006 4 door Hilux D4D w/manual trans and e brake behind the shifter to the left. Anyway the only Tuffy console with e brake opening is for a Samurai. Anyone used this in a Hilux or do I just mod my own from a universal Tuffy? Thanks All! -Daniel Kent

Tuffy in a Samurai and you can see it has to sit way back.

I haven't used that bit I have driven the hilux. I am thinking the brake it further forward than that of the zuk?!

Yeah I'm not sure, but I think your right. The Hilux is in HND and I've only seen it via videos and outside pics. I'll ask them for some interior pics.

So thru say the seat spacing is 10", probably a tad less I'm assuming when you count seat belts. The Sami tuffy will def fit as it's only 5" wide, but clearly that leaves me with over 4" of space. I hate to waste. My only other choice would be by the 8" or 10" Tuffy and modding it for the e brake, but clearly that makes way more work. Thoughts?
