'01 Cruiser (not mine)

Hey fellas. Found this in Houston. Does anyone know anything about it? It's got IH8MUD stickers on it so I'm assuming it was someone's here. Looks like a nice rig.

Great looking hundy, The author of the post certainly doesn't know anything about Land Cruisers. The rig is an expo rig...not a "Rock Crawler" (LOL, IFS Rock crawler w/ no lockers) Altered suspension??? who uses that term? The owner may have been a mudder (That new version of the IH8MUD.COM sticker hasn't been in circulation long) but the dealer selling it sure isn't. I noticed that the rear emblem has been changed to "Land Crawler" and it appears a military guy (or someone who associates strongly with the military) was the PO.

It's attractive, but only armor is sliders. Mileage is low (but high if it hasn't had a timing belt yet)

Not poo-pooing it, just seems to be a case of a salesman "over-representing" what it is...by price as well.

Well, I just sold my 80 and this one looks like a good replacement. Anyone know anything about it?

A buddy of mine when down to look at it. He said its got an oil leak. Center console had holes in it from other installed items that were taken out. All the black out paint is peeling & needing replaced. Tires brand new, no spare. He said dealer would take $13,500. Hope that helps.
