Looking at the SOR brake line kit and was wondering what people’s thoughts were.
Will have to figure which one would work best for me as I have a 67 FJ40 that I converted to disc brakes.

I have bent and flared lines in the past, so that’s also a consideration.
Haven’t gotten a hold of an emission book, yet. But can someone help me with this. Looks like one line was looped back….while another is missing.
Thanks.
Looking for opinions on the Slee SS Brake Line kit. I have a 2005 and I’m planning on rebuilding by brake caliper pistons. Obviously some synergy there with just gutting the existing brake lines and resetting that clock for years to come. I’m considering upgrading to Slee’s kit.

Hi all-hope this is the right place for this as none of the other sections fit. ;)
My neighbor has a 1993 SR5 v6 extended cab and needs a set of power steering lines. He’s called a few dealers close to us (we live in the Keys) and they basically laugh at him. Anyone know of a good place he...
I looked and haven’t seen this asked yet.
What vacuum lines are actually necessary post sniper install. There are a ton of Ts that lead to capped manifold ports etc.
I’ve seen sniper installs on SBCs where there are only a couple lines. Ie to the dizzy etc
I’d really like to eliminate as...
Getting ready to install brake lines on my 79 fj40 rolling chassis. Have 3/16 cunifer line and looking for suggestions on brake line flare nuts. Upon disassembly appears that fittings require double flare and the nuts I took off are 10x1.0 inverted flare / double with non threaded end. Having...
I'm in the process of what appears to be a timing cover leak on an '89 3F-E. I noticed an open nipple on the distributor cap and also noticed an open nipple on the air cleaner house (one of three-the other two have vacuum hoses running to engine.
There are two nipples (ports?) on the distro...
Gday,
So recently I did a engine swap for my 3b and my previous one was well, not good. Anyhow
My old 3B had a rotary fuel pump so the fuel lines it had were just hoses and hose clamps. Where as now my new (to me) 3B has an Inline fuel pump but the fuel lines have Banjo bolts which along with...
Here’s a basic question:
When replacing vacuum lines on the HAC valve, the book references Left/Right for the various lines. Is this when the value is viewed from the top, or if looking straight at the ports?
This makes a big difference in routing the lines.
I just bought a 2000 Ford F250 with a 12500 lbs winch. I have experience with pulling ropes for electrical work which all have a good amount of stretch so that the wires can all be eased around corners etc. Is there a reason that winch lines don't have stretch as well?
I currently have a steel...
As I'm working through my rebuild I've reached the part where I want to clean things up and make all the wiring and stuff look nice, so I got it in my head to run as much of the plumbing through the frame rails as possible. For some things, like fuel line, that's pretty easy but for hard lines...

Does anyone have guidance or advice on replacing the two front coiled brake lines coming from the booster??
I ordered the parts from Toyota and they will come in Friday. Seems like I can get good access through the wheel well. What is the process...

What you see is what you get. No idea if anyone even wants these anymore but I took them off my 93. Sensors function no issues.
I did end up cracking one of the plugs to get it off the rear axle since it was...
Seems like there's not much discussion on 1HZ power steering lines. Mine are leaking and causing other problems, and Amayama reported NLA from supplier.
Anyone have a part number replacement for 44410-60280? Alternatives? Didn't think this would be an issue to find.
Was swapping vac lines for new. Maybe 30% done.
Suddenly she stumbles taking off in first, when she didn't before. Vac Leak seems most likely. I was banging around alot of those old hoses. Runs okay once there is, a bit of inertia.
Any obvious parts of an 82 system I should check for leaks...
I just pulled out my fully-functional AHC system to move over to traditional shocks. These are off of a southern truck with little to no rust - 2004 w/ 250k miles.
Here's what's available & prices:
ACH Control Module 8929060040 - $125
AHC Pump Assembly 4891060012 - $300

Hey Everyone,
A few weeks ago I took my A/C system apart as it was completely empty.
I replaced all seals and was just putting it back together as I noticed that all pipes have a hole for a spring dowel pin (if this is even the correct word - sorry I'm no native speaker), but only a few...
