Looking at the SOR brake line kit and was wondering what people’s thoughts were.

Will have to figure which one would work best for me as I have a 67 FJ40 that I converted to disc brakes.

I have bent and flared lines in the past, so that’s also a consideration.

I like braided stainless steel hoses enough to pay extra. Zinc coated steel hard lines Not so much. Nickel/copper or SS would be my choice.

My first thought is "Don't order from SOR" especially if it's a kit and especially if they have to mail it to you. There are many vendors and individuals to try before you have to resort to that. Discs on a 67? with what Master? You think their kit will fit? You should know by now that they don't make kits for us.
If you can bend and flare you can make a kick-ass perfect set of hard lines with a store-bought roll and your choice of superior hardware, brackets, hold-downs and whatnot. You can do it cheaper, quicker, better and for less money. Probably dozens here on 'Mud have done just that and aren't shy about it.
You can have soft lines made locally. A Parker store, truck shop or race shop, sometimes even Napa store make them to your specs.

@Pighead — thanks for advice re SOR. Will do the bending and flaring myself. Will search for folks here who have done it themselves to get insights on tips and tricks!
