**Price Drop**
Well this hurts me to do, I've been working on this thing since 2016, and there's a lot of temptation to stick it in my garage, but my dad said he has no desire to work on or drive his 40 anymore so it is for sale.
1973 FJ40, Chevy 350, H42, 3-speed case
We bought this in 2016...
I bought these not knowing I already had "smaller" spacers on my FJ62 (see pics for comparison). I bought my LC several months ago and had it shipped to me. I travel a bit and they sat in my kitchen for a few months. Attached are all pics (includes comparison size, and receipt). These are...
Trying to source the standard bolt that secures the tailgate chains. This is for a HJ47 with a tub but others may be the same. Any leads on this?
It is a bolt with an oversize shank and a 1/2 thickness head.
Hi,
The headlight switch on my 1974 FJ is not working. I have confirmed that there is power coming to the switch through the harness. I also took the switch apart and cleaned everything as best I could. The truck has had an adventurous life in a ranch in Oklahoma..... There was mud in the...
Front axle alignment tool. Never used. Pics below are the first time I removed the parts out of their original packaging. Don't own any more land cruisers so it's time to pass it along. Looking online, prices are all over the place for this tool - $539 - $285.
$300 shipped anywhere in the lower...
I’ve been looking for an original pressing of the 40/60 Series Chassis & Body Manual and found somebody selling a Toyota reprint. He had a whole bunch of manuals and wouldn’t break up the lot. I don’t need these other ones, so on the block they go. All are in almost perfect condition, except as...
A few more odds and ends that I'd like to move on to a better home. As always, if you want additional pictures, please let me know. I'm also open to offers but I have priced this stuff to sell so there's not a lot of wiggle room there.
1. SALE PENDING - Dakota Digital VHX - 62T - FJ digital...
I'm looking for thoughts on bastardizing my 78 US-spec 40. I love the 2F, 4 speed, electronic ignition, disk brakes, radio cut-out etc... but some parts seem downgraded from earlier years, especially from 72' and below. It seems cheaper, and arguably less permanent, to make these mods than to...
So I suppose everyone has an origin story for their FJ’s…
And if you’re interested, here’s mine! a couple years ago I picked up a project that had a pretty rough body but a really nice powertrain, interior, and frame. it’s a 73. the black one on the pics. it did come with two hoods, one is the...
A few more parts from my recently sold 40 project that I want to get rid of. As always, I'm trying to price things to sell but let me know if you want to make an offer.
1. SOLD - OEM Splitcase Emergency Drum Brake conversion parts - all parts new, never installed (at least by me). Got the kit...

Hey guys, thought I’d try and pick some peoples brains.
I’m wanting to start the process of building my dream car and not sure on what way I should start it. I’m wanting to get a 40 series troopy and put it on either an 80 series chassis or a 105 series chassis. So my question is should I...
