I just got done installing 4" OME Comp springs on the front end of my truck. I had J's and was using a 1.5" spacer to level the truck out. With that much lift I used caster plates to correct the caster angles and the truck drove really well. However, in addition to the tie rod hitting the control arms, the cone bump stops in the springs were sitting at an angle such that they hit the springs. It made a really, really annoying "thud-whang" sound.

Kurt from Cruiser Outfitters mentioned quite awhile ago that he could now get the OME Comp springs in 3, 4, and 5" lifts for the front and rear. I ordered the 4" front springs on his recommend in order for the truck to sit near level with the amount of weight I have up front (ARB, M12, lots of engine bay crap). The OME Comp springs, as covered in racerdave's write up, are thicker wire and have more coils.

First ride impression is incredible. The truck doesn't nose dive stopping hard, doesn't roll nearly as much in corners, and absorbs bumps really well (and no more "whang" noise is the cherry on top). The truck sits almost level, maybe just a hair high in the front, which I'm sure will settle nicely. I'm so impressed with them I'm considering getting the 3" rear springs.

I'll have pics tomorrow. I've got pics from all J and all J with front spacers, so it will be interesting to see how it looks.
