I should've expected an answer like that!! It would be the only "bling" as I have removed the wood from the dash and the gold emblems. Speaking of bling, I saw a 99 on e-bay with 22's, and a close-up of the "diff lock" switch. DOH!

actually, a couple of folks here have them and a couple others have commented that they like their looks, i would say they are relativley low on the bling scale
 
I like it but not $90 worth, If I needed new corners I would get those, the LX has half clears, if these are genuine Toyota part wonder if Dan can get them and if so how much

I didn't know the LX had half clear!! Those are pretty cool, but I think I like the all clear for my rig. I read on a post by MOT that he can get the clear ones from overseas where he is, but I don't know if C-Dan can get them. Probably, but I might have to wait for them to get here. I would gladly give him my business.
 
not sure if Dan can get JDM parts, how much can MOT get them for?
 
had em for years and always liked them ... duh ;)

Front and rears ... just need the signals now . I think Jman has a set he said he'd sell me ... or was it Steve , Mike , Rick , or Swank ? Anyway , I'm sure all of them have them on when they're tooling around town ... :flipoff2:

I believe he told me that he can get them for the earlier ones with "TOYOTA" on the grill , new (of course), but forgot how much.

I have a couple of sets lying around (used), but can't remember off the top of my head if which grill they were for. Contact me if interested.

I'd sell them except shipping internationally might not make it worth it, not to mention they are used.

I also can get the rear lenses (all clear or red/clear, as well as front (and the fenderwell) blinker lenses (amber or clear) TYLER mentioned.

a few years ago you could get the clear OEM corners from Toyota USA, were $35 each(I got a pair), I recall they are no longer inthe US parts system. I do have the part # if someone wants to try.

I concur with Pimp. You might want to check with CDan to see if they are still available.

PS: The Lexus variant of the corner lens (81621-60180 LH, 81611-60200 RH - not avail from Toyota [Lexus only]) appears in every way to be an exact replacement for the LC (and visa-versa), but the Lexus dealers I have queried say they will not fit. Personally, I do not believe it... but I've never been able to pin down a Lexus owner to attempt a swap, so this is unconfirmed.

PSS: The all clear lenses are illegal in Calif unless you use an amber bulb in place of the OEM white bulb, and place an amber reflector somewhere near the front side of the truck.

My LX has the factory clear ones with the orange stripe in them...I'd be happy to try a non-clear one (TRY, not keep :)) I'm sure they'd fit.

As for being illegal, I don't think that's just CA, I think it's a US DOT standard, any turn signal has to be either yellow or red (I think, I could be wrong, but I'm sure there is a reason ALL cars have yellow or red for signals). The new flava is a nice clear lens with a colored bulb, my friend's new Mazda 6 has those, that do look pretty cool. Colored lenses are old-school! :)

I think you are right that a turn signal has to be yellow but the corenrs are jsut parking lights no blinking, if I ever run into a 96 LC I'll try to convince to ownere to try a swap for fit test
 
I can get them and I have a set on mine. The current list price is $48.33 each and a smart shopper could find them for around $36.25 each.

I run amber 3157's in mine and I have them set up to blink as well as mark.


This style is "correct" for the 91-94 grille. They will fit the later ones but the edge trim differs slightly.

Look at the pics in post #5. The amber lamp in the later truck has more chrome accents showing at the bottom as opposed to the earlier version shown in white........
 
Hello there, I am currently hunting for a 96-97 cruiser, and ran across this series of posts in my search. Can you tell me where the front bumper with integrated bosch headlamps can be located? and also what JDM is? thanks,

I believe LX_Treme just got one of those shipped from Japan. As I recall it was $3,000 unpainted, plus shipping.
