Anyone know of someone who will install one in my 2000 lX470? I know ATRAC is pretty awesome, but from what I've read the Eaton locker when disengaged the ATRAC still functions as normal. Not thinking about the front just the rear.
So I screwed up I had some surface rust on the bottom of my passenger's side rear door. I sanded it, Corrorseal'd it, and was spraying on some white (oof) Rustoleum primer and didn't cover my powder coated sliders as well as I should have. So I have some lovely white Rustoleum primer on...
Hi, I have a 2000 LX470, AHC was replaced almost immediately (Lexus estimated 3600 in parts to repair, luckily I had a $3000 repair credit). I had Slee remove my AHC and install the OME 1.5" medium lift kit. I have Dobinson IMS shocks on the rear and soon on the front. I also have BIOR...
Thinking very hard of buying one soon for my LX470 along with a Warn M8000 winch/snatch block. I've seen one poster talk about rattles, which would be a show stopper for me. Otherwise it's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. Pros / Cons?
Thanks,
Chuck
Hi I ordered a rear bumper with one swingout for the spare tire from Mike at BIOR, it's still 2 or 3 months out. He's great, I already have sliders and a full set of skid plates from him. So my question is where do I put the backup camera? I don't have one yet, but recently had CarToys...
Hi all, lots of threads on how to replace the OEM wheels. I just want to buy one for my spare. I found this
https://midwestwheelandtire.com/product/lexus-lx470-1998-1999-2000-2001-2002-4261160190-74145s-74145-alloy-wheel-rim
If this isn't a true OEM wheel or there are better options...
My stock spare tire carrier is rusted solid. Probably going to have it cut off with a torch. Mike's BIOR bumper seeks awesome and is within my budget. I don't feel the need for a front bumper yet. So what do you think?
Hi I have 2000 LX470 with AHC removed, OME 1.5" medium lift, diff drop, SPC UCAs, BIOR sliders and a full set of BIOR skid plates. I replaced the OME Nitro Sport shocks with OEM Toyota LC shocks.
So.... Had a hail storm yesterday. Think they may total my truck. I think with a hood...
Hi all, I have the OME 1.5" lift kit with diff drop and SPC UCAs. It came with the OME Nitro Sport shocks which I switched out for OEM shocks. I want something a little stiffer but not the 56 Dodge Power Wagon ride of the OME Nitro Sports (I used to have a 56 PW). My budget is under $1000...
Hi all, I have a 2000 LX470 with the SLEE OME 1.5" Medium lift kit with diff drop and SPC UCAs. I also have BIOR sliders and a full set of BIOR skid plates installed. I do mostly on road, with about 10% moderate off road.
I started with the OME Nitro Sport shocks but they were just...
About to take the plunge on my 2000 LX470 (AHC removed and replaced with OME 1.5" medium lift kit) For those of you who have already done this, how much has the handling changed for good or bad?
Thanks!
Chuck
Hi, I was wondering if anyone is running Icon Stage 1 shocks with a mild lift and aftermarket UCAs. I know the ICON page says the Stage 2 and Stage 3 have to be installed on 100s with aftermarket UCAs but it doesn't say you shouldn't use the Stage 1s with them.
I have a 2000 LX470 with...
Hi, I have a 2000 LX470 with and OME 1.5" Medium lift kit, diff drop, SPC UCAs, full set of BIOR skid plates and BIOR sliders and OEM Toyota LC shocks. I'm currently running 265/75R/16 BFG KOs and everything is good. Will the heavier 285 KO2s be too much for my OEM shocks?
Hi I'm wondering how they do on trails and in snow as well as on dry highyway (95% of the time for me since it's my DD). I'm currently running 265/75/R16 BFG KOs and they seem to do fine. I was thinking of going a little taller when my current tires wear out, but don't really want to go much...
