Hi all,
Finally got my rebuilt 73 1f engine in and am a little confused on where the oil lines connect to the engine. I know the oil regulator attaches to one line. #2 in the photo. (Assume that it connects to the in of the oil filter). #1 on the photo seems to high on the block and if attached would make the oil line hit the header. #3 has threads and looks like it would be the out from the oil filter.
I cannot recall if I put the connection in spot #1 or if it was always there after the rebuild.
I had a local company use my old fittings and crimped new stainless steel lines.( $80)
Also does anyone know rhe tourniquet serring for the oil lines to the oil filter?
