Not sure if you've already sorted this out, but I just put 275/70 R18 A/T3Ws on my 2002 last week on Tundra takeoff rims. They fit fine. No rubbing on stock suspension. Discount Tire also told me they would rub. I put them on anyway.speaking of tire sizes, I have an 06 LC and curious to know why the discount tire tool is telling me that the Falken WILDPEAK A/T3W
LT275 /70 R18 125S E1 RBL wont fit my vehicle? Would the Falken WILDPEAK A/T3W LT275 /65 R18 123S E1 RBL fit?
Yup, I had them installed too. No rubbing anywhere. Not sure if you've already sorted this out, but I just put 275/70 R18 A/T3Ws on my 2002 last week on Tundra takeoff rims. They fit fine. No rubbing on stock suspension. Discount Tire also told me they would rub. I put them on anyway.
These were the same specs I considered when I was shopping for a new set of tires more than a year ago. It really depends on your objective. Mine was #1 I want the truck to have the max possible undercarriage clearance so tires must be taller. #2 weight must be not so ridiculously heavy so as not to further worsen the already not so good fuel consumption but at the same time the tires would still give me decent traction on snow, san and mud. Will 285/70 or 75 fit the stock 18" without rubbing and affecting or any other adverse ride effects? Or stick to 65?
