Ordered the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 275/65R18, hopefully they will be installed this Friday.

speaking of tire sizes, I have an 06 LC and curious to know why the discount tire tool is telling me that the Falken WILDPEAK A/T3W
LT275 /70 R18 125S E1 RBL wont fit my vehicle? Would the Falken WILDPEAK A/T3W LT275 /65 R18 123S E1 RBL fit?
Not sure if you've already sorted this out, but I just put 275/70 R18 A/T3Ws on my 2002 last week on Tundra takeoff rims. They fit fine. No rubbing on stock suspension. Discount Tire also told me they would rub. I put them on anyway.

Yup, I had them installed too. No rubbing anywhere.

Will 285/70 or 75 fit the stock 18" without rubbing and affecting or any other adverse ride effects? Or stick to 65?

These were the same specs I considered when I was shopping for a new set of tires more than a year ago. It really depends on your objective. Mine was #1 I want the truck to have the max possible undercarriage clearance so tires must be taller. #2 weight must be not so ridiculously heavy so as not to further worsen the already not so good fuel consumption but at the same time the tires would still give me decent traction on snow, san and mud.

285/75R18 and 285/70R18 are both listed at 34” tires and is the heaviest on the list.

285/65R18 and 275/70R18 are both listed at 33” tires and is lighter than 34”.

Narrowed my list down to 33” tires. Between 285/65R18 and 275/70R18, the latter is taller at 33.4”. I can always air down to 18psi for more contact patch on off-road conditions when needed and still check the box of having more undercarriage clearance 95% of the time. So I went with 275/70R18 AT3Ws and didn’t looked back.

Two points to keep in mind...
1. The factory spare location is a (the?) limiting factor - unless your spare is on the bumper, there's no reason considering anything bigger than what fits under the truck.
2. If your tires - measure 33.4" you can tell you buddies you're running 34s ;) Seriously though, other than Interco, no tire manufacturer's stated size is close to the actual. My 33" BFGs on my '84 are closer to 31s.

285/65/18s here.

Yes it's lifted but had the same tire sizes before lift and never had an issue

I’m running LT275/70 R18 BFG T/A K02 w/factory wheels, SpiderTrax spacers (purchased from Slee) on my 05 LC. I have factory suspension w/ARB Deluxe bumper. My running boards were removed w/factory mudflaps installed. I had a slight rub primarily when backing up w/wheels torqued, but used a sander to “round” the wear point on the mud flap. Zero issues.
