I was able to get this far though. 1/2”x2” plates with 5/8” holes already punched in them to literally the perfect placement. I have all of them and can convert to u-bolts if wanted at any time.

My advice on that one would be to walk way, and I don't mean slowly. It looks like the driver's side rear door hinges fell off the B Pillar. If true then that pig is likely rotten to the core.
