Just finished installing the OME 2.5" lift on my 80 and wow what a difference in ride. First thing I noticed was so much less body roll through turning. My brother and I did it in about 5 hours in my tiny garage...it wasnt hard at all. Only problem we faced was removing the old steering...

I get the turbo whistle and I dont want it.:whoops:

Just looking for a good honest mechanic that knows LC's for future repairs or any mods im unable to do myself.

With all due respect, the OP was just asking a few questions about what else might have broke...he never knocked the oem birfs and certainly didnt ask what you thought of his shop. I mean if you wanna help someone out fine, but your opinion on shop cleanliness and professionalism in the...

Any recommendations on a replacement air filter for my 97 LC? Is K&N worth it or just stick with OEM or is there another one thats better?

I have to say I like the "unique-ness" of it but on my white truck im thinking it would look too much like a toupe' <sp?> for the truck. :meh:

I had a 94 Hilux I bought new and boy was it a great little truck. This truck just brings back alot of good memories however I doubt id ever buy one. As someone else said...its mostly just stickers and bolt ons. :cheers:
