I think this thread might be the place to find the answer I'm seeking. I think I have close to 175-200# on the roof. Which shocks help with a bloated/top heavy body from wallowing? In another words, I need the body to stop moving right after...
For those with smaller rigs, 40's, 70 series I did research to see which 270's were the lightest & shortest.
For weight & size I found that Ironman's XTR71 & the 23Zero offerings were the lightest & shortest out there.
I went with the Ironman as...

Piece of crap Toyota front DS ujoint only lasted 335xxx miles on Beastie. Pffft, they need to do better
Nothing catastrophic happened, just noticed the looseness while I was doing something else down there.
mine rubs lightly so I must've mounted mine as high as possible. I need to be more cognizant of when I open/close the hatch to minimize this rubbing.
friend of mine took these night time shots with his Galaxy phone four years ago. I hang...
I posted this in another forum but it belongs here as well:

Last weekend was the first test of rain water not pooling with the noodles. It rained all night off and on, even hailed at one point. In the middle of the night I was able...
I got a bad case of awning envy when on the Rubicon this year. Some guys in our group had Bush Company awnings and made my ezi-awn look like a tarp.
I came home and scoured the internet. Turns out there was a very gently used one in Seattle for...
I ended up with this one and been happy with it. This is a good entry level pack with a bladder. I don't have massive hips so I'm learning the best way to use this thing. As the water depletes, the pack starts sliding downhill!! It's only...
Interesting, good to know. A local feller has two rigs with this engine so let me ask him if he's using the 80 canister. I wonder if the older 100 series with the same engine has this pump?
We have two fuse panels, and they aren't known to failure points unless a leaky windshield gasket allowed to trickle down to the inside fuse box. Your carpet would have been wet if that's the case.
I'm assuming you disconnected both rear light...
I have an IAT post turbo in the end of the intake plenum opposite the throttle body. I drilled and tapped the manifold. I also have methanol injection and it really drops the IAT when the methanol pump kicks on. As the boost builds IAT will hit...
Ok, likely final post in this thread (maybe). The new engine is in, runs great. I had to pull the injectors after the initial start up as I had pinched an O ring on the re-install and it leaked. I also had electrical issues with the headlights...
I second this, get a power bleeder using a hand pump (some uses compressed air) to build up pressure, and of course an adapter to attach the bleeder to your master cylinder reservoir. Both will make good use of this bleeder on other cars!!!
i ordered the locking collar as well, got the two qty package vs the four qty package. My solvefunction deal keeps backing out which causes the shaft to bang around a bit. This will solve it, once and for all. Thanks again for the link as I...
I came up with a repair for my leaking sunroof that I thought would be useful for the community. My sunroof seal had seen better days. It leaked during heavy rainfall and had a pretty bad wind noise on the highway. I looked into a replacement...
