New product alert: Extended hatch release handles!
This was a request from a customer - he has a camera mounted to his license plate frame, and his kids kept destroying the camera looking for the tailgate hatch release.
I initially thought...
On the bright side that’s 300k+ solid miles before it went out, pretty impressive to me. I have the Hewitt SAI bypass kit installed around 4 years ago and haven’t had any P0420 related issues since. It basically bypasses the SAI motor and alters...
It very well be the SAI Pump, potentially running at different RPM's and creating a hum, a bearing could be going out. P0420 came on when it was HOT, ~100*F, 90% Humidity, on the highway. I was coming back from the airport, so it had sat for a...
I think I may need to try to capture a video of it, it's a very unique sound, but the best I can describe is a jake brake sound. The engine RPM calms down, SAI cylces on>off, then this new induction sound happens. It's a very deep grumble, I...
Bittersweet day. Traded my 100 series for a 200 series. After many years of faithful service it was time to upgrade. 316,974 miles on the clock. I’ll miss the old girl😢
Morning all — this just started after some recent maintenance.
My 2006 with 302K miles was getting terrible mileage (~6.1 MPG) and felt lethargic. P0420 popped up, so I replaced the O2 sensors, spark plugs (OEM), and Denso coils — all torqued to...
I've been in a very similar boat. I can't really afford the 200 series LC that I would like, so I' test drove a couple of LX570s with 100k ish miles on them.
They definitely hide their mileage better. Even one I drove with 140k on the clock...
I'm planning to add a 200 LX within a year. 100 is my spirit animal.
Although sometimes I do consider that I'd get in to a 200 faster if I sold the 100.
I second @ClassyJalopy. I removed mine for service, and I left them off for now. I'm unsure if I'll put them on. On my 2006, almost every hole is misaligned a little, making installation a total pain.
If anybody doesn't like a current solution, I have a 2006 with 2 prestine cup holders, right behind the slush box shifter. Happy to do an even trade to a manual :D
Looks decent, much better than those Tesla screens. One thing that’s prevented me from switching to the Teyes is HVAC controls. This has it, but a digitized version and a play on the newer RR vehicles. I’d need a heavy discount to buy this
Finally installed the Loncky steering wheel cover. Was about a 5 hour project. Most of the time was doing the sewing (I have bad vision and can be a little anal, so it took longer than expected).
Turned out nice and feels great.
The photo I took...
Do you know if the replacement windshield was done under a claim? If it was, you may have a little more leverage since it wasn't done properly, or to OE Specs.
