I bought a 200, but I'm used to driving Tractors. - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/i-bought-a-200-but-im-used-to-driving-tractors.1320751/#post-15186335 A before and after with the OEM spacer up front.
I'm going to go with these. I've used 4600's on my 62 and Tacoma and they were perfect. I'll likely go from the .25" oem spacer to a .5" by Dobinsons and then a .25" coil spring spacer in the rear. A little more height and a tight ride without...
Replace the radiator if you have the old style, I patched my old one and it helped with jb weld til I bought a new one.
I went to 15w50 Mobil one for the last 30,000 miles with oem filter.
The truck likes to eat brakes. Big power and weight...
If you dont have an alignment tool you can try to align the clutch od with the od of the pp disc. A lot of times the clutch disc is the same diameter as the pp disc. I think if you removed the bearing retainer on the trans you could've just...
On the other side I’ve got a couple items that will need to get addressed:
1. Emergency brake is non functioning for many reasons: cable drum not connected, significant leak at the rear spline seal. I’ve got a valley hybrids double seal kit and...
Btw. About to cross 342,000 miles. I love this truck.
60-361,000 miles
62-293,000 miles
Urj200-342,000 miles
I see a problem, I love high mileage trucks.
The 200 just pulled my friends 40 to sas and back. 2600 miles with zero issues.
Contemplating a 1” bilstein lift all around since my rear shocks are getting weak.
I have a 1989 HJ61 with a 12HT - Custom intercooler, 3" straight pipe, Hallman manual boost controller turned to 13psi, Fuel turned up, and a h55.
I've been up every major mountain pass in the state and have driven 150k miles in the truck since...
My stock 12ht makes it up Vail pass at speed limit or higher no problem. I went over monarch pass at 55-60 mph headed east and power wasn't the limiting factor...the curves on the other hand.
The event was excellent as usual.
I had to bail early. Was planning on leaving Thursday morning but bumped it to Wednesday due to a sick wife and a pending client obligation.
2600 miles on the 60. No issues, and lots of fun.
2,600 miles to ouray and back. 13-16.6 mpg depending on whichever way the wind blew.
Zero issues. Kept pace just fine.
I really like the 2F in this truck. 361,000 miles on the original bottom end.
Still needs the 12HT but I want to move into...
