Hey Rick, had a buddy go up there a few weeks ago in his side by side and they had a great time.

One thing to add...bring a lot of light or lanterns, he said that once it gets dark it's dark...no nearby city's to give off a glow.

Hmmm, I have as much firewood as we could use, but I'm thinking it may be too hot to get a big fire going.

Would a couple old faces be welcome.....?

Myself and bodean

Trying to talk him into it.

Everyone is welcome....we started this event 10 years ago as a way to just get together, wheel, relax, tell a bunch of lies and have a great time. So whether you're a "local" or driving thru from other parts come on out and join us.

I'ma try to squeeze a motor-house up in there somewheres! I'll live far enough away from the tent folk to not trouble yous...

I've been wanting to go to this place!

Any cabins with AC and showers nearby?

This? Call me a pansy, but with a little one and it being august, this is something I have to consider.

Link didn't work right, just click on lodging on the top tab on their website.

There are some cabins, but they have minimum number of guests. There are also some hotels nearby.

Yes they have 2 cabins that are available, both are 175 a night with a 2 night minimum. I'm not sure what kind of amenities they have, you'd have to call and check with the staff there and see.

Question for folks who have been here:
Tow rig is dodge 3500 trailer is 36' long....
Noticed they have RV site at pull in, can I park/ camp there?

My gooseneck has camper on it- so I can remote camp but if elec is close I can use it....

Looking for feedback since I towing a air craft carrier and wanted to ask before arriving.

Not sure on that clutchee, best thing to do is call them. Lookin forward to seeing ya there!

Tentatively attending at least Friday and Saturday - leastwise during the day, may not camp.

Okay, I have The Lewis Cabin reserved from the 13th through the 16th. @ErikinSC will be joining me. It sleeps 9 and has AC. Let me know if you want to join, we will work something out. @jynx ?

I am interested in the cabin, have to confirm if I am going to India or not first.

Cool. The girl at Durhamtown made it sound like the other cabin didn't have electricity/AC, so it's a good thing this one sleeps 9! I found it odd that there is a 9 person *Minimum*, but she said nobody cares if we don't have that many...

If you get nine people, what is the nightly cost per person?
