PP24 is 4 weeks away June 5-8 so hopefully everyone knows their plans. The details are above along with pictures of the beautiful country we are going to. The only people who have indicated they are coming so far:

1) David dtc72
2) Mike Mike_AZ
3) Craig fj55tlc
4) Jake: trail guide residualboulders
5) Jeff: trail guide
6) Don +1 Pigeaten
7) cruisin 605 => maybe

Please respond to this thread so I can get an accurate count. I plan on making FJ55 hat with an embroidered “4 Wheel Drive” logo on it. Yes like the emblem on the tailgate. I will give these out no cost to each truck that attends.

Hope more of you can make it. 😎
Pigeaten’s wife is Debra

Hello all,

Thanks to David and others, I am pulling my head out of the sand.
Due to several hellish projects, my head has been buried in the sand. Thanks to numerous fellow pigs who have reached out to me. it has helped me feel like I am still in the game. I was also very embarrassed when I blew the crap out of my mistress, again, in September of 23. Thanks to Evan, another knight came to my rescue again. It was a year before she was back in the game, and as we all know, it only took a couple quid to repair it.

I have been able to putter on the list of pig incidentals for both pigs which are running very nicely.
The camping pig goes in for smog this week and a general look around.

So, at the moment i do believe i will be joining the 25 PP procession. Thank's to Davids hot iron.

Looking forward to seeing old friends and new.

Be well and thanks to all.

Pig Party 2025
June 5-8
Western Wyoming in the Star Valley area

We are about 5-ish weeks out from the PP!!

PP25 will be led by Jake and Jeff England who live in the area and know the trails well plus the best places to camp along the way. They will share some pictures in this post so that we can all see how beautiful this area is with mountains and trees and lakes.

Daily Overview
Thursday: arrive near Smoot / Afton, WY and camp or hotel
Friday: trail day and camp along trail
Saturday: trail day and camp along trail
Sunday: drive Grand Teton National Park loop and depart for home

This would allow you to extend the trip and visit more in the GT National Park and/or visit Yellowstone National Park.

All camp locations will be dispersed camp sites so no cost/fees.

More detail to follow.

That’s another one I could give you excellent trail suggestions. I lived in Jackson for over 20yrs. Both trails would be out of Bounderant, Wyoming.

Anyways have a great PP this year!!

Cheers

I'd love to hear about these trails if you can PM me - just in case they are ones I don't know about. We're always looking for great trails close to home.

I’m curios too. I’m just over the pass.

The best ones were in J-Hole. Back in the 1990’s you could drive the power line roads up on the pass. Some were very gnarly!

Used to be a pretty rad trail up Munger Mountain, ya know down Fall Creek Road south of Wilson. You wouldn’t make it to the top without lockers. I actually rolled my 6x6 Pinz on that trail! 😂 They closed in down in the mid-2000’s. Mountain bikers didn’t want to share. You could see the whole valley from atop Munger, real shame they closed it.

Used to be some good trails up on Pine Creek Pass west of Victor too. I think all access to those is closed for some years now. Speaking of Victor there used to be a good trail that went right out of town, NE into the mountains. I only ran it once 20yrs ago but recall it being pretty good.

The trails in Bounderant are still open from what I know. They are easy dirt roads most of the year, good trails for stock piggies though. When wet or my favorite time to wheel them, with snow, they get real gnarly. One of them I have had to winch on a bunch of times to get out, 3ft of snow on the trail though.

I will see if I can make some OnX maps of the Bounderant trails.

I always thought there would be great trails up around Dubois too but I never found any.

I miss snow wheeling out that way, we get much wetter snow over here in western Idaho.

Cheers

Looks like those trails may still be there in Victor. I don’t know if they graded them, used to be actual 4wd low trails.

I guess I already made a couple maps for the Bounderant trails. Hit me up in pm if you want the OnX maps.

Oh ya, while I am spamming your guys thread, here is a suggestion for future PP.

Saint Anthony sand dunes. I think it is the best sand dunes OHV park in the USA. It has everything from mellow touring around the dunes to full on hardcore Middle East style 55mph stuff. Little lake/pond to cool off in. Excellent camping all around, pay & free. You can even rent side by sides. I have been to Glamis and Saint Anthony is better.

Cheers

Well, as with all things in my life, things change. Jeri says, let's go West! So, with 18 days left for us to leave, we are planning to attend 2025 Pig Party. :clap:If we can get people hired to feed the animals, etc. and I finish the small stuff on the Mud Hen, we're in. It's a 3 or 4 day drive out there, staying in motels, maybe. The plan is to explore on the return trip, slowly making our way back.

Something I have to deal with is that hail storm we had a while back. All three roofs, house, barn and shop are being replaced, no pressure. I truly believe we work better spur of the moment then planning for months, less arguments. :)

You all have put a lot of work and time into this and we want to be a part of it, if at all possible, no promises. BobM, make it down to Dittmer and I'll strap you down to the roof rack for the trip. Hey Jeri did it, so can you . :) Pee breaks of coarse.

Ron @scrapdaddy that would be great for you and Jeri to make it to the PP!! My best to you to get all you ducks…or should I say pigs…in a row to make it possible!
