What did you do with your Tundra or Sequoia this weekend? (9 Viewers)

I've been looking at these for a couple years after seeing Union Pacific Railroad trucks with them. I have talked with a few owners and a few U.P. guys who use them, but I can never get a definitive answer on how well they work. The people who have them, that paid out of pocket can never give me a straight answer on whether or not they're truly worth it. Any insight that might sway someone one way or the other?

I sport the Weebost and it does NOT work for me. I mounted on top of my cheap rack with a fold-able mount. When you are in the middle of a desert with no cell towers in sight, its pointless to have. You need at least 1 bar and no interferences such as trees or mountains that may block signasl.
So for me it was not worth the $400-500

I washed my hands of it for 31,5. That’s what I owed and I wanted them to be able to make some money pretty easily.

I bet they put it on the lot for 36 and roll on.

That’s not bad at all. It sure beats dealing with flakes and tire kickers. At this point in my life, that’s not worth the few hundred dollars. Best to get rid of it and move on with life.

Picked up a body mount relocation kit for the Tundra off marketplace for cheap. Now I need to see if someone at work will weld it for me. No more rubbing on 37s haha. Might head over to 38-39s

Picked my 38k mile Gen 3 TRD PRO up from the stealership after a radiator failure.... the dealer did an awesome job getting it sorted.... it's CPO'ed, but toyoa tried to find a way out saying it might of been offroaded... nope, not yet... but it's coming.....

excited to start the build on the "White Rhino"....... lift and 37's and SCS's are in the garage...

That always amazes me. I can’t recall a commercial where they’re not touting its offroad prowess.
One of the first commercials had it driving through a forest fire and jumping dunes. Now they’re trying to deny coverage because it saw some dirt. Unbelievable.

It’s been about a month now since selling the 100 series and upsizing into the 2008 Sequoia Limited. A bit salty at first, but I’ve grown into it now and am digging it more and more every time I get rid of more chrome lol

Wheels and tires today, have the power stop brake kit at home already, and headlights will be after that. I do like how much stuff is readily available for these in the aftermarket department.

Oh yeah… 5.7L.. Big…

I don’t know if you two, but the power difference between the 4.7 and 5.7 is night and day. I hated towing with my 100. Sequoia is a joy.
And good job getting rid of those wheels
