Ah yes, the ag tire stuff. Saw that 30 yrs ago in Alberta and they sure spoil trails for regular
trail riders. Can't even have the same conversation if you are concerned about following them.
I'm a former Yukon boy, and my 60 has Toyo MT's for northern trips. Different animal all together.

I try to stick to the dry days. The ruts and holes end up so deep it's a challenge for me even then. Mostly it ends up being just a belly and rocker clearance issue due to the long wheel base. Just going from the stock tires to 295s was a big improvement. I'm sure you're right - it's not worth the effort. I should probably just buy an old beater and toss some AG tires on it.

Whatever you got in your avatar is probably perfect. I'm done wallowing around in the mud just for the sake of wallowing
around in the mud. Just run the Tundra best you can in the best places you can get to.

Unfortunately that truck is no longer with us. I sold it and less than a month after it was totaled - I saw it crumpled up on a flatbed. :( I do have an FJ40 on 39's though and a side by side. The FJ40 is stored at my family's property in Montana. Probably moving to Montana later this year so I'm not shipping it up. My sxs was literally cheaper than just the shipping up and back for the FJ40. And I have a little Yamaha Rhino setup with 4 seats and little ag style tires that does really well in the mud. It's just not very comfortable becaue it's mostly so damn noisy and frankly just a lot of extra steps of effort to take it out on the moderate trails vs going in the Tundra. I've tried everything to quiet it down. Dynamat everywhere. Sound absorbing foam. Secondary muffler. Just can't seem to crack the noise level in the cabin.

The build has started... Installed an ARB, had to custom fit my Warn Zeon 12S. That process took longer than expected as I didn't want to lift it and then have to remove it to trim / fit. Then needed to tension the line, 2500 came in hand for that and a steep driveway. Also Installed my LP6's and ran the lock out harness into my SPod.

Have a few more boxes to get to, but they may have to wait till next weekend.

P.S. Agency6 winch shackle is on order, I do not intend to run the winch line as shown :p

Update on this. My 5 year old daughter was climbing around in the cargo area while I was vacuuming out some pine straw after a recent flowerbed project. She started to mess with the 12v battery door when I wasn’t looking and said “dad, why won’t this come off”. I told her to pull it up while I looked under the base plate. Not matter which way we tried to twist or pull it, we couldn’t get the door to snap off. I was able to bend it out of the way to barely get the bottle jack out, but there’s no way the 12v could be removed. While it’s not a huge deal to unscrew the rearmost (there’s 3) board when the need arises, it’s still annoying. It would also prevent being able to give someone a jump start.

We got 6 inches of rain in around 24 hours and I came out Sunday AM to find the passenger front floor mat full of water and the carpet underneath saturated, so I made space in the garage and wet-vacced out everything and put a big fan on it. Then I snaked my front sunroof drains with weed wacker string. Sure hope that took car of it.

Stage one of the build continues, Icon Billet UCA's with 8112's up front & coachmaster spacers. 5100 out back with Icon Add a leaf. Got everything installed except the UCA's as they where boxed with the incorrect dust caps and hime spacers... Bummer. Looks like UCA's go on next weekend...

And the build continues...
