Um... actually the white Omani is getting the 24 valve turbo diesel from the silver RHD to LHD conversion and the silver 80 is getting the tired normally aspirated 12 valve diesel from the white Omani 80. Has to do with keeping registration in the UAE and my desire to have the power and power band of the 24 valve turbo in one of my favorite vehicles, the white Omani 80.In line to get LS swaps right?
Also the white Omani 80 is getting its engine bay cleaned and freshened. The white truck is a real keeper. Barn doors, simple, no air bags. Just a really nice platform. The RHD to LHD silver 80 has been too much a pain in my rear to keep. Let someone else have the fun of cleaning up the wiring under the dash.
And just to keep on topic, we went out in the desert for a BBQ this evening:
That's my 105 there in the back. The one in the front is a ultra-low-mileage diesel 70 series also owned by a Mud member. The 200 is owned by a friend of mine.
Pop-top demo.
