I like that terminal. What brand is that?

I think I'd be in trouble with that long shift lever. It would probably be more tempting for one of my kids to pull it while driving at highway speed.
Haha luckily the kids stay in the back.

And the terminals are from SDHQ in Arizona. SDHQ Built Billet Battery Terminal Upgrade Kit - https://sdhqoffroad.com/products/sdhq-built-billet-battery-terminal-upgrade-kit

I didn’t love the compression connecter thing for the negative, so I ordered a new length of negative cable and spliced it to the old one, which worked well anyway because the oem one has no length to spare.

Installed a Raingler attic net—should help with the madness of stowing five people’s cold/wet weather gear somewhere accessible on long trips…. Without burying everything else you brought on the trip.

I have one like that from Advance Auto. Well worn from over a decade of use on Nissans. It's like the stubby JIS driver that I keep around. Sometimes it just fits the crazy place where I need to use it.
Thanks for your recommendation I checked with the nearest Advanced Auto and the guy said they are out of stock with that. Went to Autozone and got the “OEMTools” brand and that worked.

Any noticeable performance change
Any noticeable performance change?
If you’re asking about the muffler change I wouldn’t say there’s any performance change. It did, however, pop on these warning lights: VSC TRAC and VSC OFF with a check engine light. And my fuel economy dropped 2mpg, which, when you’re starting at 13.2 seems like a big hit. I haven’t put my Scan Gauge back on, but will do this weekend and try to suss it out,

Added a BT-45 TOY. So nice to be able to stream and the phone clarity is substantially improved (I’m told on both ends). Well worth the money if you can find one.

I removed the rear DVD player and replaced the screen with CNC’d plastic molle panel. I honestly have no idea what I’ll place there but it seemed better than a useless screen. It is a good place to hang some additional lights while camping at least.

I accidentally ordered white HDPE instead of black so I had to paint it. I might eventually replace it with a slightly thinner black plastic version.

While on vacation 600 miles from home, I came out of dinner to this awesome 60 parked next to my 100!

Recently upgraded the rear springs from 865 to 863J springs, stink bugs like hell now until we get our camping gear loaded and hopefully a rear bumper next year 🤞🏻 I’ve also made some home brew rear bump stops out of Kong extreme dog toy. Now that the 863J’s are one I’ll be installing these bumpstops soon to see if they’ll last and work for my use.

Got the extender from LandcruiserPhilView attachment 2854874

I also replaced my terminals, replaced the ground wire, and extended the negative wire. Still need to route it better/not have it draped over the fuse box, but at least I have some more wiggle room.

Now I just need to find AHC fluid because I have brand new globes sitting in the garage!
Hi PhillipB, I have the same SDHQ Terminals and want to extend the negative wire. Do you know the gauge of that extended negative wire?

What a feat of engineering. I love it!!

I’m honestly not sure what the original size is because I ordered the wrong size. I ordered 1 gauge for the negative and 6 for the ground and both were bigger than the original wire. I honestly think the oem negative cable might be a 4 or 5? I’m not sure. I’d get something to measure it to find out.
