I had to be up here for my dad Saturday/Sunday. I mistook your dates to be last Friday not next Friday. I’d already taken the days off work. Encountered only 1 Atv 3 UTVs the whole way after the private land/camp grounds

This trip will be taking us around Santa Fe on 285 so let's meet at the location below. It's a dirt lot located in Placitas, right off of I-25 northbound, on the East side. Lots of room for a trailer turn around. I'm open to suggestions for an alternate place that is on our way and easy fwy exit/entrance.

Right now, I am planning on being near the East Fork campground mentioned within the initial details posted around 1300 or 1400 Friday afternoon.

It was good times indeed. The weather was a little fussy but we were all prepared and enjoyed ourselves. We had the entire lake to ourselves!
Frank and Matt gave fishing lessons and I did some kayaking. Elwood pass was pretty empty so we made good time going to the lake from Pagosa Springs. It took about three hours to go to the lake from East Fork campground air down spot on Friday.

I ended up crashing the party. My son Jack and I had a great time. Beautiful place. Very quiet.
