Thanksgiving Day, on our way up the mountain to Big Bear, CA. Can someone please tell me why Caltrans and CHP allow people to drive up in 2wd cars and trucks, and tour buses. Where the hell are the tour buses heading? They tried to make me install my chains. I told them I don’t need no stinking chains. Was a beautiful day, driving around dozens of stuck cars, trucks, and yes, Tour Buses.. 8 buses in total
The pumps were so cold that in took 25 min to pump 9 gal of gas. I still had half of my 37 gallons remaining and 10 gal in the jerry cans. Better safe than sorry.
