UPDATE TIME:

• TEST MULE- the 80 being used for the dyno testing, CARB testing and final production install is currently getting a new radiator and then will be picked up and the testing will start over at SEMA Garage. Once the preliminary numbers are known I will detail those here and then the truck goes into the shop for final build out. This starts when I get handed the keys.

• J-PIPES- the j-pipes are done but I have not picked them up because I simply don't have room for them right now. But I also haven't picked them up because the ceramic coating was still undecided with me. Well after talking with enough experts on the matter I have decided that I will NOT be ceramic coating the J-pipes for a few reasons: 1) Swantech and JetHot suggested not to for this application, 2) the pipe manufacturer suggested not to because its thick-wall 304 stainless and its unneccessary and 3) I'm already including the turbo blanket to mitigate heat. So if you are dead set on ceramic, its on you.

• PLUGS- I'm now including spark plugs as part of the kit. Yes these are the colder plugs.

• OIL HOSES- because both of the oil hoses run directly next to the J-PIPE I am now going to cover both oil hoses with INSULTHERM sleeving to protect the hoses. This sleeving is good for 1200º.

As a fellow 94 owner I understand the frustration, but after a lot of research it seems v8 is the way to go. Obd1 can't change parameter enough to compensate for forced induction from my understanding. So unless you're willing to build a standalone fuel injection system you're kinda sol.

I’m not frustrated, after Bob worked his magic my rig runs like new. I knew the cons of obd1 when I was looking for a 80 but I prefer everything about a 93-94 over 95-96. Yeah having obd2 would make things easier But a stand-alone like megasquirt fixes the issue. I asked just to see if someone had already made the effort.

I know few '93/'94 units have superchargers with some kind of Intercooler solution, so it can be done. CruiserDan has methanol injection in his '94 since the get go from what I can recall.

Oh it can be done for sure, I've saw a lot of talk of extra injectors. The prices on supercharger kits now really put a damper on that.

The spark plugs I’m using for the kit are the same used for SuperCharger applications so it’s a colder plug. Denso PK20R8

I originally took this project over to guarantee that it work work with my OBA kits
