Keeping those wrenches warm....

I swapped radiators in the 45 today. Went 2" wider and 1.25" cores this time hopping to keep the summertime heat at bay.

Have a 1-25182-x sub 5k mile/12 month 2 row 1" core aluminum griffin headed for classifieds. 19x22" top driver, bottom passenger inlets. Would cool a tbi or stock motor fine. Not sure if outlets align for f motor application or not.

No pics because I was covered in oil and looked like I was turning into a kenyan miner but last saturday I was back in charlotte and changed all the battery cables/alt cable and starter cable on the TD suburban as well as put in some SS oil cooler lines. The later was a huge PITA and took forever with some constant adjusting at the end to stop a little leak. Not much room where they put those.

Anyway big thanks to Eric F and Brian K for the help on that. It was ...... Fun???

As a rule Jason reported higher temps when doing highway speeds and could cool the motor down once he slowed a bit, i.e. pointed to cooling capacity and not airflow as the problem. (assuming all is healthy with the motor)

(Which is not to say a shroud would not also be a good idea for 100+ degree days stuck in traffic)

Stuffed the rear 3rd back in tonight with a purdy ARB RD-142 installed. 95% of the "rewire" is done and Dozer is running again. A few loose ends to wrap up to hopefully make it to the Relic Run.

• Trip to Henry's to get the muffler relocated since it interferes with the anti-wrap now (after M&M built my custom skid w/ integrated anti-wrap mount)

• Trip to Johnny's to install a pair of 6* steel caster shims (my dumb ass set the caster wrong when I redid my front spring perches a while back)
• Run rear airline for ARB
• TSM parking brake install - need to finish weld the bracket to the M&M built custom trans/txfr support:

wish me luck! I've been burning the midnight oil between this and work going nuts the last few weeks!

@fj40z 's new 60, "The Slut", is getting a clutch job on Sunday (April 10). An invitation to attend if anyone would like to pitch in, chew the fat, or just hold a beer.

We hope to start early.

If it's a lowboy type jack it would be welcomed. What I have is a floor jack attachment that sits rather high.

That name sounds so harsh...I would propose The Scarlet Lady. Same meaning, but it sounds so much better, and you don't mind saying at family events.
