Sigh! This truck and my ownership experience is well documented here on the Mud. Bought it in 2018 and then proceeded to baseline it, upgrade it and have a ton of fun with it.
It has taken us on many, many family adventures. We have taken a few 2000 mile trips, loaded to the gills with 3 kids and all the stuff for weeks long trips and never had any issues.

Due to some life changes we are putting up for sale our 1998 LX 470. I'm the 3rd owner the second owner only had the truck for 4days (Dealership). It was posted on a Saturday night last November and test drove it on a Monday and bought it on the Tuesday. I was in the market for at least a good year for a 100 series and I have looked at tons of them in and around the Houston area. This truck is CLEAN and RUST FREE. The title is also clean and in hand. Only owned in AZ, GA, and TN. The paint/clearcoat is excellent (see closeups). Low miles and fresh TB. Also replaced heater T's, hoses and hood struts last month, along with a fresh Mobil 1 synthetic oil change. It's bone stock and everything works minus the sunroof. Selling because I have an opportunity to buy a GX 460, otherwise I had long term plans for this one. There's one blemish on the bumper corner on passenger side (great excuse for an ARB bumper?). All scheduled maintenance has been performed, as well as other preventative maintenance. I have all service records. It has not been used as an off-road vehicle and has been in California (Fresno then Pacific Grove) for its life.
Recent repairs:
- Replaced battery with Interstate battery
- Replaced fuel sending unit
- Replaced valve cover gaskets
Recent preventative maintenance:
- Oil, oil filter, engine air filter, and cabin air filter replaced every 5,000 miles
- Tires (including full-size spare) rotated every 5,000 miles
- Complete flush and replace of all fluids in 2022

This is my 2001 Lexus LX470 that was initially delivered to Lexus of Dayton, and has spent its entire life in the Dayton, Ohio area. This is an ARACO built truck, finished in the very rare Mystic Sea Opalescent (only 2001-2002) over grey leather. It currently has 116,500 miles on it, and I am the 4th owner of this vehicle. The car is free from any loans or liens and has a clean title. I am not aware of any accidents and I have included the Carfax that I pulled when I originally purchased this vehicle. Really clean LX470. Just did timing belt, water pump, and valve cover gasket at 174k. AHC works perfectly. No leaks anywhere on the vehicle. Spent most of it's life garaged in California. No rust. Clear coat is great even on the roof. two small tears in the front seats. All the rest of the leather is great. Has newer 18" wheels on it. No accidents, never been off road and only towed a small trailer once. It has all the plastic covers under the seats too. JVC apple car play head unit and retained all factory speakers with sub.

2007 LX 470 - Cypress Pearl - 137,xxx miles - $29,500 - Located in Amarillo, TX
For your consideration is a 2007 LX 470. I believe I am the 3rd owner of the vehicle, and bought it with around 121,000 miles a little over 3 years ago. It is a Texas truck (Dallas originally and now Amarillo), and has no known rust on the frame / undercarriage. It has BFG KO2s that were put on it by the previous owner, and I believe to have around 20k miles on them. I also purchased a matching spare shortly after buying it, so all 5 tires match. The front headrests have working DVD systems in them with matching seat covers.

I reached out to talk to the guy about potentially buying some of his gear and was asking if he had any idea why it hadnt sold yet. He is blown away because it’s super clean. I mean it’s a 21 year old truck so I’m sure it’s not perfect. He said everyone that’s contacted him has been out of state and not one person has seen it yet in person. I would be all over this if I hadn’t just bought an 07 LC a few weeks ago. He’s lowered the price to $16k (I’m sure all the extras are at least $8-10k).
