Hello: May I please get some input/advise from the experts. Looking at the 2005 LC with 160K miles. It is CA car all its life, all stock (i think). Owners are asking for 22K. According to them they have had the LC from last 18 years or so, all maintenance work done on time. They even state that this year, 7K was spent on the following: strut replacement, engine, transmission mounts. I am going to have a look at it today, so thought I should consult with the experts here on the forum to see if the price is right? Also, what to look for in terms of mechanical condition of the vehicle ? Thank you in advance for your inputs.
So Cal: 2007 Toyota Land Cruiser - Stock
I'm selling my 2007 Toyota Land Cruiser. I'm the second owner, and it's been in the family since 2011. It's been meticulously maintained at the Toyota dealership every 5000 miles. I have a file over 1" thick. I just had it serviced and replaced the front brakes and installed 4 new Michelins. It's in excellent condition and has the original paint (verified with a paint meter) and panels. It does have some rock chips on the hood and a few light scratches, but it looks great for its age and color (black). I believe the front bumper was replaced before my ownership. $19,500. Please PM me with any questions. Thank you.
Belen, New Mexico 1998 lx470 project
$5500 or reasonable offer running and driving, titled Lexus version of the Toyota Land Cruiser 100 series. Perfect start to an overland build or trail rig. I’ve already installed an old man Emu kit on it including torsion bars, new shocks all around, new rear coil springs. This one is pretty much rust free since it was first registered in Boise ID then on to Colorado for a few years and then to the high dry desert in Page AZ for the last four years. Front seat bottoms are in rough condition, check engine light is on for a catalytic converter codes, exhaust is loud, A/C is not working and it hasn’t been aligned since the lift kit was installed. It’s definitely a good foundation for a custom build.
San Francisco CA, 2006 Toyota Land Cruiser
Asking $18,500 Millage: 244,272 Clean title, great condition, two owner truck. I have a ton of maintenance and mod documentation to go along with the sale. Bittersweet for me selling the ole girl. I've enjoyed many good skiing and overlanding trips to the Sierra's and beyond where this truck thrives. The reliability and build quality of the land cruiser is really something special. She's ready for another 100k in a new home. Being an 05-07 Land Cruiser this rig has some benefits over earlier models, namely, a 5 speed transmission, 45 more horsepower, and a backup camera. Diff lock and transfer case fully functional. Registration paid until Nov 2025 Nice to have features: Heated seats Rear entertainment screen Automatic...

I was planning to just hit the seam with some urethane sealant since it's usually too hot in AL to ride with the sunroof open anyway. Power antenna is broken, currently disconnected. I use a Bluetooth adapter anyway. I purchased this LX last June w/ 145k miles on it and no mods. This is my first 100 series, coming from an 80 and have absolutely loved...
Belligham, WA - 1998 LX470 - Modified, Rebuilt title, what would you think this is worth?
Hey fellow enthusiasts! Very long time lurker here, but first time poster and just joined. So, long story short, I've never actually sold a vehicle before and I am having a touch of difficulty estimating the value. I know what it's worth to me, what I paid for it, whats been invested in time and money, but I am in a bind with work and I need to let my baby go. I was going to post this on Craigslist local to me, but I wanted to get the price right. I see what people value rebuilt titles as about 2/3 of comparable clean title, but I think this has to be looked at more critically, and considering this is the foremost collection of people who would know or have an opinion, here goes. This is what I was intending on posting, and I am...

2000 Lexus LX470 228k miles
Putting my 2000 LX 470 up for sale as I've owned it for awhile and have not had the funds to be able to tag and insure it. Also my 1990 Toyota Pick up blew a head gasket and I need the funds to fix it and get it back on the trail! Truck has been sitting around for awhile. When I bought it from the previous owner it had also been sitting because it had a few issues mostly with the AHC pipes being rusted out and blown. Since I've owned it I have installed a brand new Denso alternator, AHC deleted it and installed an OME 2 inch lift kit from Slee off road using Land Cruiser springs and shocks. Replaced the transmission cooler pipes at the core support with new OEM. Replaced the heater T's with stainless ones. Replaced transmission pan...
Rust experts - is this going to be a pain in my neck?
I'm in California and I've always bought California cars, but I'm Considering this 100 series that spent some time in Florida. All of the bodywork is bone dry. Engine bay has no rusty fasteners or anything. BUT there is some surface rust underneath. To me it looks like they probably towed a boat and dunked it in the ocean at a launch ramp and didn't rinse it off often enough. The tow hitch (removable), rear axle, and front skid plate (removable) are the worst. Nothing looks to be structural, just surface crust. Is this anything to worry about? Am I being paranoid or is it going to be a nightmare any time i go to work on it? As another data point, I already cranked the front T-bars a full turn and the adjustment bolts turned freely...
'99 LC - Too much rust?
Hi, First time poster, long time lurker. Been on the hunt for a 100 series. This one matches my budget, but like so many East Coast cruisers has seen its share of salt and rust. 209k on the odometer. Timing belt was just done along with brake lines, rotors, and alternator. Has obviously been sprayed for rust. Also showing occasional EVAP code. Do the pictures below plus the EVAP code mean run away?
FL Panhandle, 2007 LX470
My trusty, VVTI, 4.7 liter 100 series steed is up for sale. I’d trust this ‘07 Land Cruiser anytime, anywhere; she’s been my daily driver & my cross country queen. I recently took her on an 800 mile cross country road trip & she ran like the top she is. This LX 470 is the epitome of rugged luxury with 241,xxx on the clock, although you’d never suspect it. Basic maintenance has been part of her entire life, from TX to OK, to me in Southern MO & then on to FL. Her rust free frame + body shows the garage kept tendencies of her owners during her life; not to mention her reliability & cleanliness throughout. You’ll be hard pressed to find a cleaner undercarriage, coupled with such a pretty, sought after, stone interior. In the last 5k miles...
Central Florida: 2006 LX470
Thinking about selling my LX470. Over the almost 7 years I have owned it I have gotten multiple offers from mechanics, and even total strangers in parking lots & gas stations to please sell to them but I was never interested. Now my family and I are traveling full time in our RV and I don’t want to have my LX stored indefinitely so I’m thinking it may be time to sell to the right buyer. More photos available upon request. Test drives available. Located in zip code 32168.
On the hunt for a clean, maintained, low mileage 06-07 Land Cruiser. I owned one a few years ago and regrettably sold it. Now looking for a replacement. Willing to pay up for the right truck. Modifications are fine. However, I am looking for one that does not have any damage or major flaws. ONLY 2006-2007 Land Cruiser. Not interested in other years and not interested in LX. Open to color combinations
Hello, I caught the LX470 bug recently and have since been obsessing over finding a decent one. Ideally would like to find an LX470 with: 2002-2007 up to 200k miles Any color, except White Around $15k (a little flexible here and realize probably have some compromises) No significant rust damage I'm in NJ/NY area. Willing to travel North and South along the east coast Thanks in advance for any help and/or suggestions!
Hey guys, looking to get a 2007 Land Cruiser in black garnet pearl. Preferably under 200k miles but that’s not as important to me as maintenance records. Located in South Carolina. Will travel a couple hours / day drive. Mods okay, but I prefer stock. Really want the black garnet pearl color. Currently have a 2009 with 180k and I just had the chance to drive a 100 series. Really liked the size and just looking for something new. Budget - negotiable Thanks in advanced.
