I just bought this, but have found a rig closer to what I really want. Willing to let go for what I paid for it, which was $7,500 or $3K under NADA retail. It's bone stock with 211K miles, and it's in fantastic shape. All belts and hoses have been replaced. Head gasket has been replaced, and it has the lockers. There's a slight tear on the driver's seat, but other than that it's in great shape. The paint polishes up extremely well, but if left unwaxed the hood develops oxidation. It has some pin striping, and the fenders have been removed.
The engine runs very well. It does make a ticking noise, but has for the ~50,000 miles I have owned the vehicle. I have no qualms about getting in and driving cross country.
I just refurbished the sun roof with brand new rails. You can find my thread documenting that process.

1991 FJ80 that had rolled. Ran when I parked it not kicking over now. Think the gas is no bueno. 3.5" OME lift. Roof completely removed as well as most of the interior. Was going to do a full cage buggy with a flat flip down windshield. Clean title in my name. $850.... Obviously, not street legal at the moment would have to be towed. I have a 1996 Black / Tan locked FZJ80 for sale in MS. It doesn't smoke at start up or when it's running, and it has excellent oil pressure. The engine is noise-free and it idles and runs great. I have noticed some oil dripping at the front of the engine, and I've not looked hard enough to determine if it's leaking from the cam cover, front cover or the front seal. I always assume it's going to be the "least easy" item to fix, so I'll assume it's the front seal (although that's not where it looks like it's leaking - even if it turns out to be, it's not that difficult or expensive to repair) However, it could be as simple as the cam cover leaking. Also, there is tape on the rubber intake hose, so I presume it'd be the better part...

Alright I have a 1992 FJ80 with a turbocharged 3FE with custom intercooler for sale. Hate to let it go but mama bought a suburban and wants garage space. This truck is the nicest out there and has an extensive list of things done to it. The turbo was recently professionally rebuilt and whomever buys this is getting a sweet truck with great extra power! It truley is a gem and you will not be disappointed. Also has new injectors, new windshield and the rotors have been done!

It has the Old Man Emu “J” series 5” lift, and I have been amazed at how well it handles. It has lots of flex off road, but very nice OEM handling on road as well. I'm posting this for a friend...the truck is not mine I'm just helping him sell it b/c I know more about landcruisers than he does.
It has plenty of battle scars..there are dents and dings. The rust is minimal considering it live here for a good portion of its life.
It has 187k miles.
The reason he is selling it so cheap because it has a problem with the fuel pump relay. It over heats after the truck has been running for a while. Its a common problem on this year 80. There are ways to fix it but he nor I have the time to mess with it.
The truck runs fine but once the relay over heats it cuts off b/c the fuel pump quits working. When it is running it runs,drives and stops, very smoothly.
