1991 Toyota Land Cruiser for sale, $4,000 OBO. Great truck that needs some TLC. I have two other Cruisers that I am focusing on, hence the sale. Runs and drives great, will not restart after operating without using starting fluid. There appears to be a grounding issue in the wiring harness as determined by my mechanic. A new wiring harness for a 3FE motor should fix that problem. A few other mechanical issues stated below. If you have a mechanic or can do the work yourself, this truck has potential. If you are not mechanically inclined or are without a good LC mechanic, this isn't the one for you.

Well I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’m not using my LC the way it should be used and the family needed something with more room and a little more utility. Tundra CrewMax here I come. The LC has been great, but you guys already know that. I bought it bone stock with 193k in December of 2015 and have done a lot of PM work and some modifications. It has 216k now. The time has come for me to toy with the idea of getting a formal pickup truck to do work around the house with. Up for sale is my beloved 80 series.
I know this post will be for the most part short and succinct however I hope to elaborate a little more within the next few days.
Here are the basics:
1996 landcruiser 210k and change miles
No lockers
Very little rust for a PA car, I believe it was garaged and washed frequently by the PO.
I am the second owner, the first being from Harrisburg PA and having it till roughly 205k miles.
Clean Carfax. Vehicle was meticulously maintained by PO, I called shops listed on the carfax before I purchased it and they said they guy that owned it before me brought it in...

I'm looking at the pictures and it just fealt too good, plus the undercarriage has been painted. So I Google the Vin number and tons of web pages showing off previous salvage history. undefined
Not only that but it had over 180 thousand miles and now he's claiming it has only 34 thousand miles. Please be careful out there and let's call these fools out if we see them. I'm going to try and report this to ebay and leave a bad review on Google, hopefully it'll do something.

1997 Toyota Landcruiser with factory lockers. Last year of the FZJ80 Series. 2.5 inch Heavy Old Man Emu lift. ARB front bumper with winch mount. Kaymar rear bumper with mount for swing out spare tire carrier. Aftermarket radio. BFGoodrich All Terrain TA/KO2's in good shape. Custom rack mounted in rear hatch. Have third row seats. Comes with a multitude of new parts ready to install including new leather front seat covers (from LSeat in Houston). Some surface rust on suspension components. Body is rust free. Holes in fenders are from factory flares being removed. As is typical with these Green LC's the clear coat is mostly gone on the horizontal surfaces but the paint itself is ok. 212,xxx miles...being driven daily. $9,700 OBO.

Guys, This should be a good truck for someone. I love these trucks and do a rebuild/restore job about 1-2 times per year on them with the mechanical help of Troll Hole Cruiser in Mauldin, SC. From my perspective, I missed on this one. My normal plan is to bring back to near perfect OEM condition. I never look to make a ton of $ because I enjoy the process but also don’t like to lose much either obviously.
This truck may be better for another plan.
The good:
-Black, locked truck with no rust. 235k miles
-Excellent overall body and paint that could be refreshed to excellent from what I can tell ( do this a lot)

I posted a few weeks ago in another thread, I picked up a running and driving fzj80, but it has a salvaged title. I can go through the hassle of getting it inspected but I don't want to. I'm looking for someone basicl9on the east cost (I can have it transported) that blew there's up, maybe tore something or just looking to move on because they lost interest in there project. The main thing is that it has to have a clean title. You can keep parts off of it to recopue your cost or give me a better deal. 1000 or there abouts is my budget. There was a guy in PA that contacted a day too late on here, sold it for about 900. Hoping there's another one out there somewhere. Thanks for looking
Well here it is. I bought this lx last November from a guy in Oklahoma. I'd been on the lookout for one for awhile and this thing came up and I bought it. Now I'm really regretting buying a Lexus vs a land cruiser like I originally wanted. That's the reason this thing is listed for sale. If it sells I'll be on the lookout for a land cruiser again. This truck is completely rust free and mechanically is really tight and sound.
