My 60 has to find a new home, found an 80 I couldn't pass up. All original with 135k + mls. Many newer parts, including fuel tank (recall item), alternator, springs, radiator, exhaust work, etc. I have many receipts, from the original window sticker to a new engine at 90k. It was a southern CA rig for most of its life with very little rust and a good original interior. $3400.00 OBO.

I have owned this truck since 1999 and it is a huge part of my life. I spent thousands of dollars and many many hours on it.
I am only selling because I am moving out of state almost 1000 miles away and the new place doesn't have room for an extra vehicle.
The truck has 327K on it but the transmission has about 80K on it. I bought the transmission brand new and it has never had a problem. The truck runs strong and with the 5 speed road trips...

1981 FJ60 with a rust free body and frame. Truck currently does not run, the #2 piston is burnt up. Stock 4 speed and transfer case are still under the truck. Truck has 240K miles on it. All engine parts including head, intake, and exhaust go with the truck.
Body is in really good shape. Only rust is some minor surface rust, there is no bubbling of paint or holes anywhere. Frame is also in the same condition. Has rear sliding windows.
Interior is in intact. Will need a good cleaning. There is a slide in Rhino bedliner to protect the back.
Tires are 30x9.5x15 BFG AT with around 70%-80% of tread life.
This is a great start for a diesel/engine swap, or put a 2f back in it and have a solid 60 series. Asking $2000 OBO...

Three years ago when I bought this rig it was the cleanest one I could find in CA, NV, OR and AZ. To the best of my knowledge it has never been wrecked or had any body work done. There is very, very minimal rust. There are some nicks and scratches, but they are pretty few and far between.
Stock engine and carb rebuilt about 60k miles ago, and it runs really well. Replaced radiator, water pump, thermostat and some hoses, belts are good. Looking to sell my 60, to get a pickup and a beater 40. It has been daily driven for almost 2 years. Bought from a mud member that didn't have it long and originally came from CO. Willard drove it from CO and I drove it to SC from DC. I did remove the snorkel and got it painted with the factory paint coded Silver, and it is AWLGRIP with a clear coat. Since I have had it I added an aftermarket temp gauge, and tach. The alternator, water pump, power steering pump, starter, rear brakes, heater core, radiator hoses, all fuel lines and nicknack sensors have been replaced. Also added a push button start. I am selling my Toyota Land Cruiser FJ 62, I have owned it for a little over a year and it has been very reliable. I recently drove it to Las Vegas from WA state then back to WA without any problem at all! It is the truck everyone wants to own. After I bought it I spent over $3000 on the water pump Toyota OEM, Belts, Heater blower, Front end tie rods and the dreaded Knuckles (very messy job!) to make the truck my everyday transportation.

Selling because I am up against my limits in time, money, and skills. My son and I have done a lot to this since getting it in a trade from a buddy about 15 months ago. He got it from a guy who had it in a barn for a bunch of years. That gentlemen kept it really clean and painted the lower half at some point in time. The hood, roof, and everything above the lower pin strip is original paint. Photos are extensive, showing the good and the bad. The interior is just about perfect with the exception of the 5" rip in the driver's seat.
The engine runs really well. The desmog did the trick. I am getting about 14 mpg in town. It's been my daily driver since I bought it. Only 164,XXX miles on this. Headers and high flow muffler...
