i am being stationed at DC then overs seas by the summer and i cant justifie/ afford (besides it is a awesome truck) to put this truck in storage for 3 years plus, rather sell it and let someone enjoy this rig.
I got this truck FEB 2008 and june that year we did rubithon 2008, drove the 500 miles each way with a family of 4.

Hey guys, I have been debating on selling my FJ60 for the last few months and I am pretty sure I am going to go through with it. I'm just a little unsure on how much I should/will get for it. I've put a lot of time and money into it but my wife and I have three vehicles and it rarely gets driven anymore.

This is not my vehicle, I'm just posting this for the benefit of whoever might be looking.
This fj62 has been sitting on the lot at Barnsley Tire in Boulder for about a week, and I stopped by to take a look today. Exterior is nearly flawless, I couldn't find a spot of rust anywhere and the paint and chrome look really good. I took a peak under the rear of the truck and didn't see any significant rust in the frame. The front was a little oily underneath. It has 250k and they are asking $4950.

Im probably forgetting a bunch but the truck runs awesome, always starts no matter how cold. Will climb anything you throw at it, but still docile enough to daily drive. Interior is very nice. Body isn't perfect, has some rust, no bumpers currently, frame is solid and treated with por15. Feel free to ask questions as im sure im forgetting a lot.

I have a 1983 Root Beer Brown FJ60 that needs to go, it has many good useful parts. The body is just south of terrible, the frame was fairly solid last I checked, glass is all good, axles, driveshafts, diffs, T-Case, longblock, and transmission are all good. The vehicle has a set of 32X11.50 BFGs that are dry-cracked but about 80% tread. There is a brush guard, OLD Man-a-fre headers, and a Holley 2 barrel, the 2F is desmogged, vehicle ran and drove pretty well about 3.5 years ago but hasn't been run since. Radiator is good, I believe the alternator and PSP are gone. The vehicle will need to be hauled away. No pics at this time, but if need be, I'll see what I can do. I'm in Denver, CO., the vehicle is in Chittenden County, Vermont. $300...

I am selling my FJ-60. I built this cruiser with the plan to make it a trail vehicle. After putting all the time and effort into building this rig, I just can't bring myself to tear it up by bashing it into trees and rocks. I purchased this cruiser a while back almost stock aside from the engine conversion. Everything works except the A/C (see below) I will try to get the hoses made over the next few weeks and get it going (unless it sells before then) I am asking $8,500 for the cruiser. Up for sale: My 1985 FJ60. Good clean 1985 FJ60 that runs and drives great. A little bit of rust but not bad. It just turned over 200K miles a few days ago. I have been driving this for a couple of months as a daily driver. I bought it to be my daily driver as I needed something while my FJ45 was down. I no longer need it so it is up for sale. I bought it in Colorado and just moved to Utah. THIS IS NOT A RUSTED OUT UTAH FJ60 It has only been in Utah for about 6 weeks.
The rust is isolated to the rear 1/4 panels where the mud flaps are. The rest of the body is in decent condition. The paint on the roof and hood is a little faded. There is not a spot of rust in the rear tailgate or lift hatch. The PO tried his hand at...
This blue tank has had recent work:
- new alternator
- new water pump
- thorough tune-up, including air filter, plugs, wires, distributor cap, all belts
- new transmission filter and fluid flush/fill with Mobil 1 synthetic
Automatic, 247k miles. Good tires. I have the Carfax report. The body has no rust to speak of, quite a few paint chips and some banged up bumpers, and the interior is surprisingly good, with a couple of not-so-good places (primarily the cargo area carpet and a small hole in the side of the driver's seat).
The last tank of gas got a little over 12MPG, and that was before the tune-up. The air filter was SO dirty, I am expecting an increase in mileage just from changing that.
Everything works except the window...
For sale is my '86 FJ60 Land Crusier. 211,000 on the clock. Selling it because I am relocating across the country for work and cannot afford to finish the repairs before I leave. I am asking $3k for it, NADA says its worth $3400 in the condition its in. Would love for it to go to a good home who will finish the restoration.

I bought it a couple of years ago. Selling it to get my daughter a more gas efficient vehicle.
The engine is stock 6 cyl. and the trans. is stock 4 speed.
Rust is at a minimum as far as I can tell.
The original color was white or tan and the interior is the tan-ish color. PO painted it blue.
I think the transfer case will need to be rebuilt in the future, just seals and such. It's not grinding, just slips out of 4-HI intermittently.
I would say there's no major issues with it. I've been driving to work in it the last 2 weeks. That is from Newberg to Hillsboro, over Mt. Chehalem. It can be a tricky drive depending on the...
Decent parts truck for sale, rust bucket, complete truck, 248,000 miles, has not ran since 2004. (Carb issue). Needed clutch, brakes when parked. Stored in heated garage the last 5 years. Remanufactured cylinder head with approx. 5000 miles use. Good glass all around (no cracks or chips). The tailgate came off a JDM truck but has some rust. Frame is rusted almost all the way through in the rear. Front has some surface rust but not rusted through. Interior dash is not cracked and 3/4 seats are in fair condition. 1983 FJ 60 land cruiser for sale. The engine and transmission has only 82,000k. I was planning on using this as a parts truck and drop the engine and transmission into another truck as a project.
