I figure the pictures will do most of the talking but here is some basic info:
-Majority of the resto was done some time ago, around '00-'01 and unfortunately driven very few miles from then til now (example: only logged 1400 miles between '08 to present time).
Rebuilt engine, new clutch and other rebuilt drivetrain componentry were all performed as well. Zero engine oil leaks and runs/drives as it should.
-The obvious non stock items installed are the wheels, tint, stereo, rancho suspension, and nifty little interior pull handles. .
-Numerous items have been powdercoated, too many to list, just see pics.
-I'd say less than .5% rust. All being super light surface stuff, like on the grille as seen in the...
1972 Toyota land cruiser fj40. Runs, but needs a carb rebuild. (Accel pump sticky) Also needs front brakes overhauled. (Includes parts). Recent work includes a new header and clutch slave cylinder. Looks pretty sweet IMO, no reserve, any guesses as to how high the $$ goes? Seems like hit or miss if a couple bidders take it sky high these days...then seems 50/50 if payment comes through from the stories I hear from sellers.

I'm trying to help out a neighbor by listing this for him. He was referred to this site by another member. It's a 72 FJ40 with 24k original miles on the body. The Chevy 383 stroker has approximately 10k miles on it. This truck is virtually rust free and does run but will need some electrical work. As far as I know, it currently will need only a fuse box and ignition to be up and running completely.

The time has come after almost 19 years for me to sell my 1976 Toyota Landcruiser. A new baby and busier life have taken my time away from her. It’s time for someone else to enjoy her another 20 years. You would be the third owner.
She has the stronger and bigger 2F engine with 77,766 miles on her. The engine is in perfect working order and overall she has no leaks. She runs smooth and shifting her 4 speed transmission is easy. She does have a newly rebuilt OEM carburetor from cruiserparts.net and installed by the great folks at Toyota Tech in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Her front disk brakes work excellently (drum in the rear). There is very little rust on her original body considering how old she is, but I’m sure having her garaged...

This transmission and transfer case is off a 1973 Landcruiser FJ40 Cruiser. The cruiser fell off a car carrier when being delivered (when brand new) and the roof was crushed. The owner took delivery of the FJ and somewhat repaired the roof. After driving it what we estimate to be well under 10k miles, it was parked in a storage garage and dismantled for body repair but never reassembled. This tranny/transfer case still shows the factory white paint used to designate grease fittings, this has not been painted or altered to cover up anything - it is exactly as taken from the garage. It appears to be in good working order. (607)829-6315 8am to 8pm Eastern Daylight Time.

One is a 1978 - FJ40 - aluminum tub, hard top, decent tires (BF all terrains), engine swap done last year (2F for 2F) - runs great - has shackle reversal - currently inspected and could be a daily driver. Needs a little work - rust starting to pop on doors and hood. Original engine will come with it - but it was pushing oil...

Putting up my uncut 1982 FJ40 of or sale with power steering. The truck is in perfect running condition and is a daily driver. Very original, with original paint, everything works, right down to the interior light and the seat belt buzzer. I've owned the truck for the past 12 years and its been pampered the entire time. I recently installed a set of tie rod ends and the truck drives and tracks great. Here is a list of upgrades let me know if anyone has any questions.

1970 FJ40, no title. Last registered in Illinois probably in the late 1970s. I do have a bill of sale from the previous owner. Obtaining a title in WI for something of this vintage probably wouldn't be a problem. I just never did so because this FJ was on plow duty for a few months and has sat ever since.
I have another 1971 FJ40 with an SBC 355 and don't have any interest in restoring this one or parting it out. At one point I wanted a Toyota engine in the 71, but am just working with the Chevy powerplant.
