This is my dream rig. It's a 1982 FJ40, professionally converted to the much coveted 12H-T diesel engine and mated to a H55F 5sp transmission. This truck only has 5000 miles on it since it's build of pure awesomeness. I swore I would never part with it, but the impending arrival of our first child isn't leaving me with much choice at this point. Some slight surface rust in places, no cancer at all. Selling my 1974 FJ. Its a 350 re-power thats a great reliable daily driver or off road machine. Engine is from a 94 C1500 and runs perfect. Just put on a new alternator, new radiator, fully rebuilt and cleaned the TBI, and replaced the distributor. It has a 2"body lift with 33" BFG AT's. Custom bumpers and rear spare tire mount. For sale is a 1975 FJ40 in freeborn red, this FJ is in excellent condition with no rust issues. After buying a few years ago, I had it painted back to original color, and had the inside color matched with monstaliner. This FJ has the original 2f motor, and 4 speed, the carb is original, along with most everything else. Hate to do this but the family is growing and we need to upgrade to a larger cruiser. It is primarily used as a get around vehicle on expeditions to the mountains and Moab. Most of the miles we have put on it are while towing.
