Yep, title pretty much tells it all. Circumstances (business is very slow) require that I sell my cruiser I've owned since 2005. Really sick and sad to see it go but nevertheless...

35" BFG Muds. Spare is brand new.
78 2F engine, rebuilt by the same people that do Man-A-Fre rebuilds. It's one of the hopped-up versions.

Man-A-Fre headers
Turbo City Throttle-body EFI. Based on a Chevy 4.3 Astro Van EFI system. The ECU is located in the glovebox. O2 sensor installed just downstream of the header. Even has a check engine light. I have all the documentation on this.

So I dropped by my barber for my usual cut to find this one sitting out front. Sure enough we talked about it and he's looking to sell. Its pretty complete, has one area that I noticed needed some body work on the bottom left side of the tub next to the rear bumper. Truck has some tube bumpers and a lift. Interior is pretty complete as well. It has some other work done to it, that I am forgetting at the moment. I have no affiliation with this one............but despite the poorly written description and clearly an owner that doesn't know what he/she has I think this one has some potential?
At least it doesn't say "mint", "barn find" or "restored". Its big verbiage flaw however is "runs good, could use a tune-up"
Perhaps the F in 2F means Ford? Chevy steering, perhaps 1 ton tie rods for the high steer setup? CJ7 can't explain. And it has an awesome "gas cap" mod.

1964 fj40 for sale in northern ky. This truck was purchased last year in Oregon. It is very clean with only 2 rust spots at the rear sill. I was amazed how straight it is! When I got it there was no engine, trans or t-case. I began to take everything out of it so I could begin the resto process. I soon lost interest and sold it to a friend who owns it now. He has not touched it since he got it. I removed the steering column, wiring, heater, seats, all switches and knobs. I did this carefully with I tensions of reusing it all. It has a rare ramsey pto winch that goes with it. This truck is very clean. If you have any questions send me a message. I will be happy to answer them or send pics! Up for sale is a 1969 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 with a Chevy 350 Throttle Body Fuel Injected V-8.
Man, how I don't want to sell this truck. It's time, though. It was my daily driver but I'm going further to work these days and it doesn't make sense as my only car. If I could keep multiple cars, this would not be on the market.
This truck was purchased a few years ago, out of Dallas by the previous owner. It spent its life dry. It's solid, with all original metal and no rust. The previous owner was a regular at Caffeine & Carburetors in New Canaan, CT, where the truck drew a strong crowd.
The truck is always garaged, both at home and at work, but I drive it regularly so it does have some small blemishes. It was painted Targa Blue...

I want to buy an 80 series so I can build it up to take my kid off roading and longer trips. I have a 1973 FJ40 with original engine. It has a SM420 transmission and original transfer case. It has ARB lockers front and rear. No power steering or disc brakes. It has a sky jack suspension and full roll bar. 35 in tires. PRP seats front and PRP bench in the back. I have a hard top but it has rust. No doors or back door. The FJ40 has rust in a small portion of the front fenders. And surface rust in the interior. Nothing major. I am probably in the wrong forum but I need help on pricing it. Don't know how much I can ask for it. Maybe somebody here can help. Trying to buy a cheap FJ80 so I can put suspension tires and bumpers. Thanks.

Selling a 1978 FJ40. I bought this truck about a year ago after waiting 17 years! It's a great truck, in pretty good condition.
I am the 3rd owner. I bought it from a mechanic in Silver Cliff, CO who owned it for 20 years. The original owner was meticulous about keeping records. I have a ton of paperwork and logs from the original owner. I have an original log book with receipts (gas, tired, etc) from the early 1980's

its not supposed to be a rust bucket found in a barn. its supposed to be a vehicle that would be rusted out if not for the protection and preservation provided by said barn.
And whats with people wanting so much for these things now a days?! this guys opening bid is twice what the thing is worth.

I think I'm going to sell my project. I bought it with intentions to modernize it but I just don't have the time.
It's not perfect by any means. It runs and drives (could use a carb tune).
Has the original straight 6 motor, original steel wheels, original doors with no rust, hard top, full soft top with doors, bikini top. All in very good condition.

Selling a 74 FJ40 I got in a trade with a friend late last year. This is a great running truck loaded with good equipment. very presentable looking the body is basically very solid. I won't call it perfect but this is the ideal driver for someone.
Body is solid, no rust through anywhere that I can see. Someone put a strip of sheet metal across the rear sill not sure why. Cargo area and front floors are solid. Doors close Ok and lock. I believe one of the windows does not roll up or down. Hardtop has a dent or two in the drip rail area. Doors are solid as are all front end body components. Frame is solid. Bumperettes in place in the rear. Nice front bumper looks like it might be from JT Outfitters.

1983 40 with what looks like factory air and PS (although may have been added). Restoration by TLC. The only thing that concerns me (other than the fact that i don't have 60 grand) is the Colorado plate. Might not pass CA smog.

Wondering if you all have had transactions with a guy from Dallas, named Paul, that flips FJs, specifically if anyone has bought an FJ from him and if not, what you all think of this original paint FJ at 9500? Theres definitely bad rust at the rear Q panel and doors and the inside rear was redone with a rhino lining.

anyone know anything about this seller on ebay (goldendays91). they claim to be a husband and wife importing cruisers from Costa Rica and they have several on ebay right now. Rigs look nice in pics but its always good to treat these things with a healthy dose of skepticism.
Just wondering if anyone has ever seen any of their imports in person or has any experience with this seller.
