1967 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser
1967 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 Factory Soft Top Model $4,000 Located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I bought this to restore, but unfortunately don't have the extra time. Original color was light blue (Horizon Blue) with Coral interior. I started some sanding to see how many layers existed and started exposing areas of filler. Body has rust spots in all the usual FJ areas. Front floor pans were replaced with sheet metal by a previous owner. FJ has the tailgate correct to the soft top models. A previous owner put the newer hardtop on, not original to the cruiser. The original front seats were recovered at some point. The rear jump seats show the original coral color. Previous owner busted the rear driver side glass on the hardtop. I have...

NOT MINE (yet). 1978 Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser This has been tempting me, but not at this price... Would it be possible to pull the H55f and have it redone, swap into my FJ60, then mate my 4spd to the 2F in the 40? I know the rust is terrible, but if it could be had for less $, what would your offer be, if any? Interested to hear others opinions, I sort of want to make this mine.... Thanks for looking!

1978 FJ40 w/ OM617 diesel, Marlin Toybox and Orion
SOLD Purchased in the winter of 2010 as a beat up project with a Chevrolet 250 straight 6 with a single barrel carburetor and a 20 year old paint job that buried rust in the quarter panels I loaded it up and headed home. Originally planned as a mild wheeler and the platform to teach my children how to drive a standard it soon evolved into much more. The build thread, for what it is worth can be found here. Build Thread In 2011 I installed a Mercedes OM617 turbo diesel out of an 85 SD. Luke at 4x4labs and Mr. Manny had both started similar swaps but information was very scarce. I built my own adapter plate and installed a very wore out 5 cylinder diesel, within a few months I had it on the road to mixed results. Lots of information...

I'm still looking for a suitable FJ40, so I conduct daily sweeps of the various dealer and auction websites that frequently list classic 4x4s. I noticed this morning that Classic 4x4 Market will be doing a weekend feature on the FJ40/45 this coming weekend on their Facebook page, and soliciting listings - those of you selling your trucks might consider replicating your listings there; the traffic seems pretty high, at least on their FB page, and I understand that this is "free". There's a submission form to fill out, though I didn't click into it. Classic 4x4 Market On a more important note, I'm still searching for a driver-level (not beat up, cut up, or highly modified), stock-ish '70s FJ40. THIS is close to what I want, but it's in...
