Hopefully this isn't breaking any rules. I posted this over in the 45 section, but didn't know if very many people venture over there. Looking to pass this on to a cruiser head that'll be able to appreciate it the way I intended to.

For Sale- 1982 BJ42 LX that i bought in Oz this winter- it just got here and is registered in NJ- This is a real beauty- all original-minus the rims- it has factory Power Steering, Air Con, the 3b Motor is strong and sounds great- interior is immaculate. It is getting incredible mileage! I bought this one from a mechanic in Oz who, by looking at the rig took great care- it has 237k on the speedo which i would say is correct-The frame is solid and has no rust- The aluminum rims in the photos were not included in the sale that is why the other photo shows white rims- tires are about a good half tread, there is one rip in the drivers seat- Little damage in the rear passenger quarter, the driver side back door has some rust in the lower rt...

i started on this a few years ago and dont seem to be getting towards finishing it so its time to move it. every thing is done except wiring, paint and now a v8 motor,,im using the v8 in another truck. original bug catcher doors in great shape....465/205 to a narrowed fj80 full float rear w/ disc brakes.. front discs are toy pickup conversion,,,, 74 short power booster w/ one of the last earl warden spacers to keep from cutting the brace on the firewall.... power steering,,4 turn steering gear box,, nice spring over,,, 35x16 inch wheels and tires to clear the rear discs. 99% rust free and solid body... 1965 FJ45 Long Wheelbase ORIGINAL IMPORT
I've owned this truck for the past 10 years, and bought it from a gentleman in San Carlos. It is an original import originally sold here in the US, which was only from 1964-1967. A lot of these are brought in from Canada where they were sold through 1972 and a lot of others are now being brought in from Central and South America. The only thing on the whole body that is not original is the Gas Tank was removed from the cab and a larger one was placed in between the frame rails under the bed. Over the past 10 years I have continued to have upgrades done as money allowed, the latest two of which were the Body Off Resto and the LS1 Motor. All work was done by profesional shops.
