wanting to sale or trade this 83 bj42. i have only had it for a short while and have wheeled it and also driven it as a dd. i really love it but would either like to get into a stoke 79-82 fj40 or a nicely built 80. this truck is equipt with ARB air locker in front detriot in the rear. has h55f tranny and marks reduction gears in t-case. it also has 9000lb winch. the diesel is a 24 volt system. interior is perfect including full roll cage. it also has metal tech front fenders and bumper, has home brew sliders that are nice. it has a full hard top with abulance doors. at the moment it has a paki- top that is neat. the plastic side windows are dry-rooten. anyway this is a very sweet cruiser and needs to go know. im looking at around 8k...
looking once more for the impossible; an FJ45 in good running condition, no V8 conversions, no bonded out rigs, just a nice , decent truck, prefer LWB, 2F, 4 speed , a newer year like in the 70s or 80s would be great but will consider any year.

1966 FJ45lv and a 1965 FJ45lwb for sale. Lv is complete and original the lwb pickup is just rolling chasis and body, neither are running. I bought both with long term plans to restore. I have not touched either in the 5 years I have owned them...too many projects I suppose.
The 65LWB was completely stripped of paint by previous owner then was sold a few times before I purchased it in 2002. It has been in Southern Colorado for the last 18 years and despite the ugly patina the body is surprisingly solid with some small rust holes. (I have photos) The desert air has preserved it well. I have title and I have another hardtop and some doors that go with the truck, the extra top is pretty beat up but a skilled metal guy...

I bought the truck as a project and intended to restore to original. This is before my '79 BJ40 became a project when the body on it finally gave up the ghost...

I'm reluctantly selling my 1965 FJ 45 longbed P/U. Truck is 95% complete and stock and runs fine, maybe driven 2000 miles in the last 7 years.......... new 33x9.5 tires on stock rims, blue paint is decent shape, very little rust. We just buy last year this BJ42 for my wife to follow me with my FJ Cruiser into the trail.
My wife found it a little bit rought to drive.
We look for FZJ80, trail ready or a stock one with a good price.
The BJ42 have brand new shoe, BF Goodrich All terrain K/O 33" and a new OME litf to fit whit the tire.
the motor run good. the body just went repaint. the hard top is good.
We paid 13000$ +2000$ for the new suspension and about 1000$ more for the tire.
We sell it for 13000$ (nego)
One head light look dead, but toggle light it up and down!, the gaz gage have to be fix but the floating gage gaz work correctly.

i live in vancouver bc i have a pretty mint 77 fj 45 for sale,newer aluminum tub and fenders,hand made steel short box,all the running gear is stock but well maintained with subtle upgrades,the suspension is set up for both spring over and under it is set up on a spring under right now.i am currently running 33's on white spokes but it comes with 15 x 10 aluminum centerlines with 35 inch bfg all terrains,all the glass is in good shape as is the interior,new third member in the rear,i also have extra drive shafts for the spring over.original hardtop and doors,added chevy power steering and cross over steering, the truck is painted primer grey..asking 12 000$$$.want to know more call me (604)790-0599 if you want pics send me your e mail...
troopy is for sale. 82 hj47, runs great, stops great. all stock expect wheels and tires. has full length roof rack, seats in the back. nice buckets up front. truck is solid. has some rust on the rear corners but frame has not a speck of rust. this would be a good candidate for a resto or just drive it like i did. id like to get 12k for it. but ill take offers. this is a right hand drive model, with the 2h diesel engine. it is located in Maryland USA.

For Sale- 1982 BJ42 LX that i bought in Oz this winter- it just got here and is registered in NJ- these are the photos i bought it from- had it inspected and it even has one confirmed kangaroo kill! i think it tramatized my girl friend, but she toughed it out-We drove this all over from ACT to melbourne-This is a real beauty- all original-minus the rims- it has factory Power Steering, Air Con, the 3b Motor is strong and sounds great- interior is immaculate. It is getting incredible mileage! I bought this one from a mechanic in Oz who, by looking at the rig took great care- it has 237k on the speedo which i would say is correct-The frame is solid and has no rust- The aluminum rims in the photos were not included in the sale that is why...
