I have for sale a 1984bj42 rhd for sale . It has a factory 5speed and a full floating rear axel. Also has factory power steering . It has 2 rust spots on it. It also has duel tanks and duel batterys but it 12volt. It is white in color with brown graphics on the side .. It has brand new 34x 9.50 super swampers LTB,s on it . I have powder coated some of the engine componets and have added many stainless steal bolts.. I also have a superwinch that I was going to put on it,it is the 9000i model and it has very little use. 1982 BJ42 up for grabs. I purchased this truck two years ago and it has spent time as a daily driver and has also spent its fair share of time up on blocks as I have taken my time fixing several basic things. I finally went ahead and made an attempt at dealing with the rusted tub by cutting the tub and cab back to just behind the seat mounts with the intention of making it into a SWB 45 with a bob cab. I am now facing the reality that the only way forward is to purchase a new tub. Currently I am unable to afford this and don’t see myself allocating such money to a vehicle in the near future (still hoping to come across a cheap tub). I am going to make this an honest sale and am looking for $3500 for the truck in its current condition...

It's a 1978 FJ-45 (per registration). It started as a 1977 and a 1978. I bought
two trucks and built one. Both frames of the trucks that I bought had trashed
frames so I procured a 1978 frame that was in terrific shape. I welded a lift
on to it, reinforced a few normal FJ-45 trouble spots, and then dip-
galvanized the frame (after sand-blasting it raw).
Here's a list of the things that are different from a stock 1978 FJ-45:
Exterior:
- trayback per pictures.
- Hood from a 1967 FJ-40. (split hood with stock chrome hood ornament). I
think these hoods are classier; plus the hoods that came with the two trucks

I just got back from 5 months overseas and am still feeling that the FJ45 is a luxury that I really shouldn't afford right now. I have had this vehicle for a lot of years and it has served me well. The paint is fairly fresh and the motor has very few miles on it (because it's been a Home Depot runner for all it's life with me, nearly 15 years). It has it's flaws and loose ends but it also has some great upgrades and overall it is a very solid truck, which you can feel when you drive it. The price is $14,500. A friend of mine decided to sell is cruiser. Used it mostly for hunting. He has a other one in part for sell less the tube. I beleive he has the serial plate of the one in part.

From what i recall, he has a newly installed OME Heavy a M12000 24V winch and a detroit in the rear (check with him about the locker, i am not sure). Truck was restored some time ago. I beleive it has power steering, but check with him.

This is going to eBay sometime this week but I want to offer it here first. I have no idea what this is worth with the Aqualu, rust issues, 5 speed tranny, etc., and I don't want to sell myself short, so let's just say $12,000 and I will take offers well below that (hope that's within the rules).
Also, the truck is parked far away from my present residence where I just left my goddam camera with fresh pictures of the truck. I will be able to get the camera back by the middle of this week. So the pics you see are older and don't have details of the rust issues. They will come.
