FOR SALE 2-FJ45’S
1966 FJ45lv and a 1965 FJ45lwb for sale. Lv is complete and original the lwb pickup is just rolling chasis and body, neither are running. I bought both with long term plans to restore. I have not touched either in the 5 years I have owned them...too many projects I suppose.
The 65LWB was completely stripped of paint by previous owner then was sold a few times before I purchased it in 2002. It has been in Southern Colorado for the last 18 years and despite the ugly patina the body is surprisingly solid with some small rust holes. (I have photos) The desert air has preserved it well. I have title and I have another hardtop and some doors that go with the truck, the extra top is pretty beat up but a skilled metal guy could rebuild it. I have great love for the 45's so I am reluctant to sell this truck in particular but I would love to pass her along to someone who may have more time and money to devote to her.
Asking 3,200.00/make offer.
The 66LV I bought from Paul Decker in Petaluma, California about 4 years ago. Similar to the LWB the truck it had much of its exterior paint stripped off then also sat and was sold eventually to Paul Decker then to me. This truck is in great shape, very solid, completely original and unmolested. This is a fantastic restoration candidate. The foot areas of the floor are thin in places front and back on both sides with some holes. The rockers on all the doors are in great shape. The rear gate functions and all the doors function but are in need of a little adjusting. Interior has all its original appeal in tact. It was parked by the original owner in 1991 I think he never started it again. It was later stripped some of the paint with plans on doing some sort of restoration. After the paint was taken down the restoration was abandoned, Decker bought it for his collection, had it for a number of years on his lot until I bought it in 2004. It was originally two-tone white/pinkish salmon color. Maybe with a little time and effort she might turn over? I never tried, I was building a house and a business at the time I bought it and never got to tinker with it.
Asking 4500.00/make offer.
Thanks for the interest Ratboy
