Up for sale is my 1980 fj43 that was imported from Colombia. I am going to be putting it up on ebay next week for 23k but there is a mud price of 20k. I said I would never sell the 43 once i got one but I have just recently bought another land cruiser and have decided to let this one go. I don't need to sell it, but I want it to go to someone who will enjoy it. It is not a perfect show condition fj43 and the price reflects that. The frame is solid and has no rust on it. The front fenders have a little rust on the underside where it attaches to the steps. The driver side front door has a little bit of rust on the bottom of the door. It doesn't bother me as I never had the doors on it. Strong running 2f 5 speed transmission...

Red '82 BJ45 LHD Troopy for Sale - Boulder, CO.
Like the title says, 1982 Red BJ45 LHD Troopy for sale. It was recently a wildfire truck in Portugal, decommissioned in Sept. & then imported to Houston by me. I drove it back from Houston. LHD, 12v 3b, 4 speed roughly 104,xxxkms. I just replaced all of the coolant & heater hoses as they were pretty old. That means new coolant as well, and I'm going to be doing the oil/filter soon as well (or if someone buys it before I do it, then you can have the oil & filter for it). The same goes for the gear oil in the diffs, etc... Truck runs spectacularly & everything works as far as I can tell, other than the light on the dash for the glow system. I haven't really dug into that yet. Overall it is a clean truck, but it does have some...
1978 FJ43 Sky Blue in Colombia for Export $45,900
This truck is destined for the auctions but I wanted to share it here. I now have all papers in hand (finally) and trucks ships January the latest. Will be tagged in Tampa, Florida. My company Volcan 4x4, LLC is now a registered Florida dealer with $25,000 bond. I have taken deposits for 3 trucks so far sight unseen and delivered one with 2 in process. Sold 6 trucks so far. This is a full time business for me and I am focusing on quality and my clients. 1978 FJ43 repainted in original Sky Blue. One owner Doctor owned. This FJ43 is believed to have around 115,000 miles and is the most original FJ I have found so far ( I actually bought a 68,000 mile Patrol recently). The odometer shows 83,000 km but we believe it has rolled over...
Due to a little one joining our family, Ive switched needs and I'm looking to trade for a first or second gen. Tacoma - double cab, 4x4, manual transmission. If you have a one in good shape with decent miles, let me know. I'm really not interested in other trades at this time. The Hj45 just had an engine replacement in the form of a lower mileage 2H. It runs great, has new brakes, hoses, belts, fluids, electric cooling fan, and plugs. It's expedition ready with dual fuel tanks, stock steel wheels with skinny 33"s, a fresh water tank, rear power outlets, privacy curtains, and a period Trakka camper Pop-top. This was converted at the manufacturer in Australia. The top and fabric are in excellent shape.
I'm looking for an HJ45 or 47 with a pop-top. I would like a Trakka pop-top but others would be considered. I'd also prefer a 47, but as these things are pretty hard to come by I'm not going to be super picky. I did just sell my FJ Cruiser and 914-6 so I am a cash in hand buyer. I'm in Chattanooga, TN but I can travel. I'm also not above importing one from down under. There have been a couple for sale recently, so maybe there's another one out there that I don't know about. Thanks, Drew

Here I go now with an old friend needing a new home. I have decided to sell my 1965 swb 45 series. It's a great truck, starts every time, used as my daily driver for the past 1.5 years. I purchased it from a mudder in Oregon 3 years ago, and I am not sure of the origin of it, but looking at the minimal rust profile, it's surely a western truck. Quick run-down of what I have done to it, which is not much, other than drive and enjoy it! It has disc brakes in the front, drum in the rear. -3B diesel from a 1985 Canadian BJ60 -Stock BJ60 radiator and fan -Manual glow plug set up -Manual fuel on/off cable -4 speed (H41) and split transfer case from New Zealand -1" shackle lift -33" BFG all terrains on factory hubcap rims -rebuilt...
Sorry if this post shows my ignorance. I am looking for a Troopy. I love the 11 seat troop carriers. I think the models I am looking for are FJ45, HJ 45, FJ 47 (pre-1990). I doesn't have to be fully restored but in a respectable condition, with none to minimal rust. Specifically, It needs to be Left hand drive. I have looked at some that where right hand drive - but they won't work for my family. I have searched everywhere. Any help is appreciated! I am looking to join "the family." John
1964 LWB potentials
I’m toying with the idea of letting go of what was once my dream truck... I’ll try not to bore you with too many details besides the truck, but it’s not an unfamiliar theme.. Changing priorities and finances, combined with some health issues, and a little bit of general oldfxxxeritis thrown in too... SW Montana. What I have is a 1964 FJ45 lwb pickup. It is a project. It is not quite complete, nor does it run, nor do I know about it’s likelihood of running without fully rebuilding the motor. It sat for a little over 20 years before I got it (driven to it’s parking place), and was sunk up to the frame in a very dry silty setting. I have done some basic rescue work to the rig to preserve it by particle blasting several of the...

I'm putting my '82 BJ42 up for sale. Please see the Craigslist ad below. As I state in the ad, I would like to sell this truck. I am open to negotiation, but I don’t need to sell it. I have set the price based on what it is worth to me. If I can’t get enough for it I will keep it and continue to enjoy it. Please read the entire craigslist post carefully. I am open to comments and suggestions, especially from this forum, but please keep it positive. Thanks for looking! http://eastoregon.craigslist.org/cto/4902800298.html
