I just traded my 03 Tacoma with 350k miles to a buddy (with some coin to boot) to get a ‘17 TRD sport. It has 178k, looks and drives great but has some God-awful bro wheels on it. It’s the newest vehicle I’ve ever purchased and I’ll be using it mostly for work and daily duties. I have another first gen Tacoma, a couple 70 series LCs and an old 82 SR5 so this will keep miles off the others. Just wanted to say hello and that I’ll be lurking and asking questions on the new stable mate.

I’ve heard some good and bad things about these, but from how it drives; it’s a peach. I hope I get some trouble free years from it. I think first in the agenda is doing a drain and fill. Any other tips that i should hear about? The belt has an incessant chirp that I’ve heard needs addressing with an updated P# from Mr. Toyota. Is this correct?
Thanks.
