Holy Smokes!
What a nice rig.

Nowadays it seems every Cruser on the CL is "rare", so I understand your skepticism, but this one truly is.
The BJ-44 was a JDM only. It's the only Cruiser with a 2B. It was the 1st (maybe only) non-LV 40 series sold with a forward facing rear bench. This one has a higher end grade of interior trim. Its got the manual, toolkit, and factory air. AND, if its true, super low miles.

With Resto-mod FJ40s pulling $60-$80K in some cases, this is worth every thing he's asking. I can only wish my 44 was this nice.

It may take a bit to find the right buyer who will appreciate what is on offer, but this is a fair asking price in today's market.

Not quite the first 40 series sold with a forward facing rear bench. Here is a 1963 FJ43 ;)

WOW!! I stand corrected:beer:

A 5 speed would be nice, but the 4 isn't bad to live with. I have 32"s on mine and I can (eventually) get up to 70 mph without any trouble. Day-to-day around Wilmington it's fine.

As an aside, I tend to 19-20 mpg mixed city and highway.

Looks like it might be needing a frame too.
Are you asking to buy it or sell it?

seriously! it looks like you're buying the drivetrain and the title. not sure that's worth $3500. Just my $0.02.

Just saw this. Yes that is my BJ44 and apologies for all the "rare". I did not over-use the word nearly so much on my listing here.
