Perfect RTT for a 40, the profile matches the roof pretty well.I took it camping with some other dads and their boys in the neighborhood.

Good job and nice rig!Re-bled all my brakes. Something Charlie M @charliemeyer007 said in a previous post got me thinking. I used one of those HF vacuum bleeders (they literally and figuratively suck) and had spongey brakes. CM said you had to use thread sealer to get a good seal so you aren’t sucking air along with the brake fluid. The wife assisted in the pumping and holding and I ran the wrench at the caliper. Thanks CM.
Those are from @Poser@Pighead , I saw you have discs on your 55 in the rear too. Kit?
When I bought my rig in 2002, I asked a CHP if child seats on the jump seats were legal, and he said they were, as long as they were OEM. My girls are in their late 20's now.I think today I would have gotten a ticket with them in the car seats on the back on the jump seats.
Good job and nice rig!
Does your 40 have a rear disc conversion "kit"? If so, from what company?

I just installed new drum brake cylinders (Japanese aftermarket, all 4) in the rear of my 76, and bleeding them gave me ( and a trusted mechanic) fits! Yes, I tried all the tips I could find here on Mud too.
I've done it in the past and never had an issue like this time.
I'm going to be shopping for a disc brake conversion kit soon, to put on the shelf for the next time a brake cylinder leaks or can't be adjusted.

Ha! That was before I learned to count the clicks when pulling the parking brake (7-12 per FSM, but I prefer 7-8), then adjust if needed. There was also a steep drop off close by.I like that safety rock chock![]()
Agreed. I don’t think that’s too expensive at all. Consider the materials alone. Everything is expensive. I’m getting the smallest, 40, tri-mix cylinder for stainless welding and that alone costs over $350 for the cylinder and the gas. Then you got wire, pipe, blah blah and you gotta make money on your labor. You makes your monthly car payment one way or another. Sure, my last exhaust cost me 200 bucks. That was 20 years ago or so, I forget exactly. This guy did a good job, he's got a good reputation, I opted for the fancy Borla muffler, it's a local one-man shop that I don't mind supporting. I was expecting it to cost more. I don't got a frowny face, I'm all smiles.
Then again, it was probably the easiest exhaust that he's made in a while...Agreed. I don’t think that’s too expensive at all. Consider the materials alone.
