Does it have a launcher for paintballs? Sign me up, that looks awesome I better get the Hundy running soon.
Hahaha! No, but a pair of Baja S2's would sorta be like getting paintballed in the face if you were tailgating at night...

I'm guessing this won't fit the early 100s with the wind deflector wing.
Nope, that's why the MSS-L exists to replace that wing:

what type of issues was this causing? I have a mirror problem I suspect could be the harness
If you can’t control both mirrors it’s probably your door wire harness connecter 2M

I’ve never been able to unlock the doors with the driver switch,
I lost the ability to use the key cylinder to unlock the doors (it still unlocked the door but wouldn’t register a valid key unlock so alarm would trigger constantly)
My mirrors couldn’t be adjusted. Sometimes the car would unlock it self randomly 3x while opening the door. Memory switch. And the door courtesy light. I got everything working! Those problems slowly started over the past few years, been too lazy to fix.

Currently Installing my Dissent bumper and teq custom headlights i went with the Morimoto's HID and glass lensed options. I had to tint the corner lights since teq customs stop selling them. Also Installing the Apex 12,000 lb winch from Harbor Freight.

I'll have to look into this I can't adjust my passenger mirror from the switch just through tech stream.

Bringing my 2000 LC back to life. It's going to be an adventure as it's been parked for at least 5 years.
(1) cleaned <-- could be spelled cleaned-er
(2) Removed old gas from tank. Added ethanol free high octane.
(3) oil(s) changed
(4) I'll be changing the fuel filter today.
Started with no issues after I charged the battery's. I thought the main battery had problems because it wouldn't hold a charge. It turned out that dual battery relay has issues (might be the boost relay). I had the battery tested and it's fine so I ordered a new relay from Slee. For the moment both batteries are terminated on a common lug. I'll switch it back to normal once I replace the relay.

Found abnormal vibration at around 60mph. It reminded me of the time that I blew the driveshaft out of my 69 Camaro (402 / 4 speed / 20 years old with tendencies toward bad behaviour )

(4) drive shaft replacement ordered. There's a little bit of slop where both shafts connect and the u-joint is bad.
(5) Replace AC line and charge (waiting for refrigerant)

Things I need:
(1) part number for the two pieces of rubber molding on each side of the windshield.
(2) Front seat leather is gone. I need to have the front seats redone.
(3) Carpet. It's seen better days.
(4) Getting close on the timing belt. I have the belt, water pump, etc. Just need to find someone I trust to do the work.

Future - I'll be taking it to a local paint and body shop soon. I'm not sure what I want to do as far as color goes.
It's really a testament to Toyota's build of the Land Cruiser that it started up just like it always did after sitting that long.

Best way to find accurate part numbers is to search for yourself…

Check this site. PARTSOUQ.
Input your vin number and search for whatever you need.

I got a seat leather kit from LSeats and have been pretty happy with it. It's not terrible to DIY, think it took me about two evenings to do the first seat, one to do the 2nd once I had it kinda figured out. Documented the task on my truck's modification thread (link in my sig)

While I was under the LC confirming that some "person" stuck a sticker on a shock bushing package and tried to pass that off as a different part I found even more things that are messed up.

Here's the package they sent to me. It has front shock bushings and I doubt if they would fit an LC

Here's where the right part goes... it's missing more rubber bushings than I thought. Like both sides of the link and both sides of the LC. I don't know how. It's just been sitting for years.

And my UCA ball joint on the driver side lost it's outer "garments". The passenger side may as well be gone.

I got the newest generation SPC UCA ball joint assemblies on sale at Summit.
Right now they're $176 for the pair.

That look like an aftermarket upper control arm and upper ball joint.

Manufacturer should have replacement ball joint dust cover available. If the ball joint is tight and has not failed, clean it up and re grease, and just replace the dust cover.

Regarding your purchase of upper shock bushing kit…
The photo you sent of the location is on the front sway bar.

Check here for more good info and part numbers. RobRed is a member here on IH8MUD, and has complied this for all to use. Many thanks RobRed.

I'm pretty sure they're SPC and it looks like a grease zerk on top, which, IIRC, means v2 assemblies
which are prone to early failure. That's why I was pointing him towards replacement. My 2 cents.

Finally got my truck aligned after a month of going back and forth replacing worn out parts.
- Replaced steering rack bushings with super pro poly
- Replaced inner and outer tie-rods with a 555 kit from cruiser teq
- Replaced wheel bearings with a timken kit from cruiser teq (previous koyos/timken were installed poorly)
-Installed a full Powerstop z36 kit front and rear
-Installed Slee stainless steel brake lines
- Rotated the tires

Rolled 340k, had a beer and changed the oil for probably the 100th time. Need to rebuild the steering rack on this thing though that's where she leaks.

315k. Oil changed, zerks greased. While doing the oil change, after removing the filter, I realized that I indeed did not have the extra filters that I thought I had. Had to put the old one back on…. Continuing to monitor the condition of the failing dust boots on ball joints and tie rod ends. I’ll have to get to it eventually I guess.

Let us know how you like those Z36 brakes. Did you got through the pad seating sequences?

Rear brake pads, evaporator coil clean up, ventilation hoses, Heater T clamps, and cleaning the coil wells
