HI! Can someone give me some feedback on zodi's products and service. I'm looking at the X40 hot camp shower but any other product's feedback is welcome.

Thanks

Zodi has very good service for their products. The Zodi hot water unit(s) (and air units alike) work fine as long as you DO NOT interupt the flow of water (or air on the air heater model) across the lit burner...otherwise it will go into melt-down mode (literally...that's how I know they have good after sale support/service  ). And keep the darn thing away (assuming you are going to use a nylon shower teepee of some sort) from nylon ;) .

Or put a Helton Heat exchanger in your rig...

thanks for your help. I'm surprised that there's not more people using zodi's showers. At least you gave me good feedback!!!

CottonLand has been using one that a few of our members went in on together for 3 years. It is great. On a cold morning it takes a while of re-cycling the water to get it warm. Works well, easy to use.

Don't ask Alvaro how he likes his Zodi. It's crapped out on him. Everyone else on the recent Anza trip had the Coleman. I used one of those a couple of times and was very pleased with how quickly it heated the water.

Costco online has the Coleman with carry bag for $165.

Had one of the non-heated ones with the battery-powered pump. Lasted about two trips into the desert before it died. I won't get another. Looking at a more industrial-strength solution with heating, like an exchanger setup or better yet something like what ddude has done here:

have never seen a zodi shower on a trip.

alvaro had one last week in Anza- guess it will be going in the trash. He said the pump sucked to begin with and the think crapped out on him. Desertdude and Dudette have used one in the past per my conversation with them.

i just bought one from cabelas.com i don't know what i need to run for gas is it fit with coleman ?

1# propane cannister...or a converter/adapter so you can run from a larger, refillable, propane tank.

I've always like mine. It's about five years old and works great!
