4BT 80, sell to get a Hunny for a DD:grinpimp:

sold

Alex I sold both the cruisers. I used the money for a really cool jeep! :flipoff2:

Don't worry your children are safe and sound. One has its own tent now.

But i'm driving the 4bt rig right now.... the tent he speaks of is my garage :grinpimp:

You stalkin' me?

:grinpimp:

I'm actually working on getting a custom McNamara gear made to work with the Mark's gears. That transfer case will be bulletproof, that is if I can re-build it correctly.

LOL! No, just haven't heard from you in a while and saw your post on my regular 4BT diesel Mud searches. I just swapped out the Cooper STT's for some new Goodyear MT/R's with Kevlar and full interior LED lighting in the 100.

Alex, your list has made me think about my list for my troopy. I did not know about Mark's OD and definetly not McNamara gears. :hhmm:...need to do more research.

My list was
* Rebuild/replace Front Driveshaft
*Replace stereo & speakers w IPOD/CB combo plus speakers
*Build drawer/sleep platform
* Replace interior side plastic with aluminum side compartments (similar to Crusher's 70 build)
* Learn how to weld and build a new rear bumper
*Install ARB compressor & ARB rear Locker
*Install Engel MT45

Guess I have plenty of time this weekend to research as Mary is gone working for the weekend.

Yeah, you have to pick either upgrading to a McNamara gear, or the Mark's gear. You can't have both unless you get Jeff to make you a McNamara custom gear, which I am talking with him to possibly have made;) I have to pull the T-case apart anyway as I have a crack in my rear housing. Once I get back, I have to send the donor housing to Advance Adapters as they have a jig made to modify the case housing for the larger gears.

I am also going to fabricate new interior side panels once all the mechanical stuff is done, there is a ton of room behind those trim panels. Wayne might also be making a small run of the rear door storage/kitchen platform inserts if he can get enough interest.:hhmm:

I'll play

4x4 labs rear bumper
35 MT's -- possible trade pending for some 35's X-Terrains
factory LC wheels
Full Al's body liner
Maybe some 850J's up front

hey guys..... I am new to the club, not to cruisers....my old 91' surely turned 350k...too bad her speedo cable broke at 205k....just sold her for $500..and replaced her with my "new 92" with 176k on her...it is nice to finally have AC....last month was like driving around in a microwave....
so what I wish to accomplish in the future:
OME lift ( i wonder if It might already have the springs with these bilsteins)
learn to weld and make some kick axx bumpers, maybe sliders
figure out why my offrd lights dont work
and fix that"other noise"

basically aiming towards an expeditionary vehicle to bring my "little buddy"camping
anyone in the charlotte area got a welder?

Local as in Charlotte?? Not really, nothing legal.... occasionally some people will open up their land for it. There was a guy across from the speed way a few years back but I haven't heard anything since then.

Uwharrie is only about 60-90 minutes from you though.Got an event out there in september

We will have to grab a beer sometime though. Brett is still bugging me to make it to Taco Mac.... seems like a good enough reason and it is fairly close to you.

Throw up some pics of the rig

pics of the rig...I hope to set up as an expo rig...and of her older sister....(sold)

Just got the frame welded and plated where the cracks were.
Installed 6 new OEM bushings on the front control arms.

Buy one?

Mud is killing me everyday, getting to see your cruisers is like getting to hole a million bucks then having it taken away 30 seconds later...

I miss mine BADLY!!
