this spring I am going to build some shelves and draws in the back of the GX. The side that holds the fridge will have a lower hight draw. Many times I will be camping with 1 other person, sometimes it will be 2, don't see 3 others joining me. I plan to have my dog along. The side without the fridge will be the same hight as the seat folded over, so that she has a long flat surface.
So which side and why?

I put my Engel 35 qt on the passenger side - driver's side already has driver, battery, fuel tank. However I leave mine on the floor so rear visibility is not impacted - this would be my primary concern as I suspect weight distribution, access to fridge, etc. are all nits compared to visibility imho.

PS as well due to weight on DS

Seems like a good idea also if you want to do a sleeping platform. Leaves more room for sleeping on the 60 side of the 60/40 split seat.
