One brave SOB with a bikini top! News said 2" of rain in 30 minutes.

I talked with the owner of that 40 several weeks ago. He drives around with a lab.

That same guy with the yellow 40 also has a 60 that is built as an expo rig including roof top tent. It's sick!

Oh yeah. It is brown. I saw wrong. There is a nice mustard one in town now an older guy drives.

Troopy in Raleigh!

My jaw dropped as I was driving in downtown Raleigh today, did a quick U-turn across 4 lanes to catch up to this cool rig. MtnClymber is stationed here in NC and was just stepping out when I caught up with him on the side of the street. AUS spec rig and very clean- enjoyed speaking with you and checking this beautiful rig out up close!

I have seen that same yellow 40 in that same lot from I-85 several times over the last few months.

I am overdue posting, several nice Cruiser sightings recently, the most recent was a nice white 40 in Raleigh last week, near the termination of Strickland Rd into Fall of Neuse Rd.

That is the white FJ40 I posted pics of a few months ago, it's easy to recognize due to it's silver top. It's a '79 model, I'm pretty sure it has power steering and maybe AC. It used to belong to my buddy Jack in Hillsborough, it was his wheeling rig/daily driver for years. It has a full cage and used to have winch, body armor, etc. He wheeled it many years at GSMTR in Tellico before building a V8 Cruiser to wheel. He removed the armor and winch, then painted it white before he sold it.

Really clean black FJ40 on Doby's Bridge & Hwy 160 in Fort Mill yesterday around 6:15PM. Soft top, on a trailer with the tow vehicle having an unusual cap / slide in box contraption.

Too slow on the draw with the iPhone to get a pic. Lost him in downtown Ft Mill when he turned to go down main street. Wish I had a pic, because it was one of the cleanest 40s I've seen in awhile.
