ok, lets end the thread hijack. Yukon- my ;last ride was a yukon i built for hunting, and i did daniel a few times in it. I hunted that rig for years and put 200 k on it. It really was a love. Soo much power with the rebuilt engine. My new favorite is the LX, wich is more capable, reliable and is still a work in progress. However, it is still a huge wagon, and will never be a champ on the trail. Loooove the LX/lc Best ride to date.

I met a guy named Ryan at the Harris Teeter in Southpark today. He was driving a white 1975 40 with black bezel, soft top, no doors, front hoop tied into factory cage, 327 SBC, and 33's. Got it about 6 months ago. Didn't have any cards on me (not even my own) but told him about us and 'MUD. He seemed interested.

Just spotted a mint BJ/FJ 4X here in Beaufort on Front st. It looked like the rear was longer than on a normal 40. Mustard yellow, tan canvas top, white wheels. Looks perfect! Maryland tags

was it the guy in the middle. I am not sure if he has a canvas soft top. But he is a clcc guy. Check out the good looking 100 on the right too.

Also, this 80 was a few houses down form me in Emerald Isle last week. Metal tech sliders and bumpers with bfg Ats. Looks like they could have been an inch or two bigger though. Anyone here? MD plates as well.

No, it wasn't a pickup. Im not familiar with all the FJ body styles... but didn't look like a normal 40. I'll get a picture tomorrow.

That yellow one has been rolling around here for a bit, I first saw it at a marine canvas place down on 24 a couple of years ago. I didn't get a good enough look at it to see if it was a BJ or an FJ.

About the same day I bought my 80 (June 23) I spotted a FJC with snorkel, huge roof rack and more lights than I could count at the intersection of Lawrence rd. and Horseshoe rd. in the Creedmoor/Wilton/Franklinton area of Granville Co. The driver and passenger would have noticed us cuz me and a truck full of kids were pointing and gawking.

That one is right up the street from my house and I asked the service attendant about it. He said it was towed there a couple of weeks ago but didnt seem to know anything about it. I was hoping to talk to the owner and get some more info about it.
