Saw these two at the Wendy's in Albemarle Friday evening during a downpour. Guessing they were heading to URE.
Wish I took a pic of what was hauling them, but was getting soaked taking these. Looked like yellow state DOT trucks that you see workers use for road kill and patch roads. Was a really cool set-up.

Ok, at the 5 points service station in raleigh, there is a early 70s fj40 that I have mentioned before, and a nice fj62 that is for sale. I stopped the other day and asked about them, the 62 needs ac work, and the 40 has a few driveability issues with the clutch and trans, otherwise it looks ok. Anyone know the owners of these rigs (different owners)...I'd like to talk to them. The 62 looks perfect, but he wants 8k for it, and the owner of the 40 is stalling.

In driving around town yesterday, I saw a good looking 40 on 33 or 35" mud tires sitting at the 4 Wheel Parts on Glenwood. Blue with white hardtop.
